People are apes. part of the great ape family of mammals with many similar characteristics of social organization akin to that of baboons. Basically in Baboon society what you see is the dominant male controlling all the resources of value. He has his pick of the females, he's a bully that takes food from the subordinate baboons around him. The leader has the power and often acts selfishly untill deposed by a stronger male. In human society you see much the same story playing out. The elite at the top of the social pecking order control all the resources of the entire group. The subordinates at the bottom of the social pecking order only get what the leader allows them to keep.

Essentially the problem with modern society is that the same old ape hierarchy controls every aspect of daily life. We know better, but the same old story plays out as it always has. It's genetic. It's born into us. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Of course those of us at the bottom of the social pecking order are pissed off. We go through life getting the table scraps the elite let us have. The thing is, much like in monkey and ape society, there comes a point where one of the subordinates decides the current leadership has abused its power long enough and when an opportunity arises for the subordinate to overthrow its master and become the ruler he will inevitably depose the current leader. It's hard wired into us all. There is no escape from it. Revolution is as instinctual as breathing.

I wish that we could rise above our primitive nature. I wish that the people in a position of power would have some sense of duty to rise above it and bring about the full potential of humanity rather than succumbing to the greed and tyranny that so often is the result when one has power over many. Rather than leading by example and bringing about a utopian dream, our leaders have been tiresome little tyrants. Im so sick of it all.

Theres no doubt the the senate was taking some serious notes on this. And when I mean serious I mean they were trying to figure out how they could get these guys in as much trouble as they possibly could. Unfortunately for them i think Mr. Johnson handled them all pretty nicely. He was politely trying to tell them 'you guys are effing up big time' and i don't think one of them in there listening to him gave a damn, heck they probably weren't really taking him seriously.

I'm really glad that this took place but i just don't feel like they (the government) listened. Things are in motion that can't be stopped here in the USA. I think the veiwers of these videos will gleen more information on how many of us, the tax paying citizens that Mr. Johnson was speaking for, are actually pissed off about whats coming down from the highest level of our governing bodies.

There are many of us ready to defend ourselves by any means necesary. And that includes against the 'enforcers' the government may soon choose to put to use in trying to take away our birth given rights. It's about FREEDOM fellow countrymen. Real and absolute, constitutionally lawful, and given to every child born in our country.

There are many symptoms of the ongoing Balkanization in America.

While you are entangled in your ideological and political confusion, war profiteers are selling their arms and creating their own special militias which will make sure various neighborhoods get to war each other.
They will commit crimes blaming them on certain groups and other groups will react, to their emotions not to the clear mind.

It may be called another civil war, or national, or religious war, or cultural war, but in reality it will be, as it has always been, a gang war.

And you will all be involved in it and suffer.

One can say that history is finally knocking on the doors of America...

I know you will reject this thought with disgust, but isn't it always like that. Then, when it happens, you will all say it surprised you.

Ask those who have already been through this.
This is what already happened in other places.
Nobody believed it would ever come to that.
But criminals recruited jobles hoodlums, gave them weapons, gave them nationalist insignia to wear it and sent them to commit crimes of murder and rape, all assigned to a particular nationality or religious group, as a whole.

And the press all happily fell for it, because it was a strong political tool and brought them profit from sensationalistic reporting... And that's all that matters in these opportunistic times.

The industry of crime, especially war crime, is one of the strongest industries in the world, and still growing in strength. War criminals are a great political tool and currency, used to gain enormous political profit.

Open your eyes. Don't listen to CNN or FOX - believe the opposite of what they tell you.

Militias are ideal tool for criminal organizations which use them to do the dirty work. The blame goes elsewhere...

But whoever comes in power after that, they are the real warmongers.

Be careful, watch around, pay attention, because one morning you may find yourself embattled, caged in another Sarajevo or Vukovar...

America is not immune to history.

For the record, I know Mr. James Johnson personally. I have spent many hours where he used to live in Columbus, Ohio, discussing these matters. He, myself and others involved formed the OUM (Ohio Unorganized Militia). where I served as a top end leader. This was 1994-1995 when the militia and patriot movements were gaining momentum across the country.

We were trying to do the right thing. Get folks involved in defending our rights, our freedoms and our homeland from politicians who were running around legislating chaos.

While Mr. Johnson did in fact go to Washington D.C. at the politicians invitation, he did not speak for everyone in the militia movement as it appeared. He was self centered, self serving and frankly tried to hijack the OUM from the people in Ohio. I will give Mr. Johnson his due though by saying that James is one hell of a public speaker.

Soon after that session with congress, the OKC Bombing occurred. Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols were found guilty and dealt with by the Feds. The militia movement then went underground along with the majority of the patriot movement. It was somewhat decided and agreed upon by all parties involved to continue to press forward to try to gain our country back from the politicians who were hell bent on destroying every single freedom we had left.

Mr. Johnson faded away after his expose in Washington D.C. and he divorced his wife in Ohio and ran off with some attorney named Linda Thompson and eventually started up a news paper or online paper called the Sierra Times (I think the name is correct) where he still sits today.

I hold no animosity towards Mr. Johnson for his actions in Ohio during those days. It was a crazy time and despite what I've read on this thread and others who were "army rangers", the militia folks are not as hillbilly as you think or lead to believe. If it were not for the Militia and Patriot movements, your 2nd Amendment rights would have disappeared a long time ago.

The movements still exist today. Though underground and out of sight, they are quietly preparing to deal with the wrongs being committed daily by those elected to represent the people. They would have no problem with our politicians if the politicians would represent the people and not their own self interests of greed, illicit sex and corruption. Our current breed of politicians in Washington D.C. use the constitution as toilet paper. Shame on them.

I apologize if I have offended anyone by this writing. I did not mean to.
I am a Veteran of the US Armed Forces and proud to serve my country during the Cold War. If they needed me today, I would go willingly knowing that I might die for what I believe in and not regret it.

Freedom has a price. It is called the spilling of BLOOD and sacrifice of human LIFE. Someone has to pay it for the rest of you to keep it. The question thus becomes: "Do you want to keep it" and "Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for it"? Only cowards run and hide. I consider Bill Clinton a coward as well, running off to Europe instead of serving his country when they called, whether or not he agreed with the reason of the battle or not.

Only 6% of the population of the 13 colonies participated in the American Revolutionary War. The rest were just bystanders. Uncommitted and afraid, yet they reaped the rewards of the sacrifices made by the 6%.

The 2nd Amendment exists because our founding fathers knew from experience with the British Monarchy that government would typically not allow its slaves, its servants, to carry arms for fear of uprisings against them. They wanted to ensure that one could defend himself, defend his family and his country, defend his property and most important of all, take his country back from tyrants and tyrannical governments.

I should note here that there are a lot more gun owners in America because of that amendment than would have ever been in Britian in the army.

As long as we have our weapons, we can ensure our freedoms. Obama will try to take them away as he has stated. Just to make a point here. Obama is in a solid position now to ensure that all blacks in America receive "reparations" for the days of slavery and for ill treatment until the 1960's. I'm not in favor of it. You should not be either, but is plan to "redistribute the wealth" in America will do just that.

So, it all comes down to this. Are you willing to make the sacrifice to keep your freedoms intact ???

Saw the Militia address to Congress. I saw Mr. Johnson declare himself and his group admirably. What I did not see and this is a fatal flaw in his speech to Congress, was that he did not specify ORGANIZED Federal instances of threats/harm to citizens. Had he done so he might have not looked like just a guy up there wasting Senate time. It is amazing to me that as well spoke as he was he did not have supprting instances and documentation of his statements. Too bad, he is a marked man now. He will likely die violently or of some mysterious heart attack.

My personal belief is that the $hit is going to hit fan and it is completely by design.

The powers that be want population reduction and what better way to do it then to slowly squeeze the people and have them turn upon themselves, then sell arms to all the sides, militias, governments that pop up.

Sooner or later everyone gets tired of fighting and it stops.

When politicians get scared they create more laws to protect themselves.

I hope this time it will not be a physical war, but more a mental war that wins over lower emotions and acts of hatred.

I agree with you. BUT, History teaches that human beings learn absolutely nothing from history. So while there are many tell tale signs historically, try telling that to average guy on the street and he might give you a funny look....

Who knows? Maybe this video really does open some eyes. That would be a nice change, wouldn't it?

'all men are created equal'

I honestly think that the people are missing the point of that statement. It was directed at the Americans, meaning 'All Americans Are Created Equal as each American is American'.

Civil war is coming... In OUR LIFETIME! I don't want it, do not condone it and certainly hope it can be avoided, but with each passing year I become further convinced that it cannot be avoided. The audacity of our current government knows no bounds. They have clearly not governed by either the will of the people nor in their best interest. Rest assured, there will be hell to pay at the hands of the restless citizens.

Never before in the history of this government have their approval ratings been so low with disapproval ratings so high. Yet they continue to disregard us like worthless peasants and carry on as though consequences were things of the past. They will pay and pay dearly.

Foolishly they believe REX-84 and COG plans will insulate them from what is coming - it will not. They believe that their armies will side with them and mercilessly kill innocent American citizens; their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and friends and neighbors - they will not. They WILL be flushed from their holes and bunkers like a fox outs a groundhog and they will be strung from the lightpoles as testament to a new dawn in America.

It will not be limited to the politicians. The bankers, the corporate elite who have placed millions into modern indentured servitude will feel the wrath and be lynched by the very public that they have ruthlessly enslaved. Their henchmen and supporters will not be spared the blade of justice either. Blackwater and their ilk have neither the manpower, firepower nor stomach for what will transpire when the gaunlet is dropped.

I am a simple man of simple means. I am a peaceful man. But more importantly I am a family man and a man of principle. A man who DEMANDS a better future for my children and a man who will fight to the death to help ensure it. A man who, when pushed too far, will push back with such a vegeance and strength that it will take those in power by utter suprise. I am a solitary man; but I am a man who is not alone. When the time comes men just like me, brothers all, will stand shoulder to shoulder and face tyranny head on. And from the ashes will arise a new beginning; a TRUE new morning in America - the way our founders intended it to be.

To those in power I say, let my words serve as both a reminder and a warning. A reminder that you govern because we, the people, allow you to and a warning that if you continue to defy the will of the people, such powers will be removed from you through whatever means necessary. The ideals and documents that you have sworn to uphold and protect make it so.

Anyone with information, please contact me via PM.

Again, I am from Detroit, MI and wish to become part of this movement and get my community involved.

lol nice video, but it actually happening? 0% chance...

a) Like the Romans said and still remains true to this day *Give them Bread and circuses* ie most of the populace couldnt care less what the governments are doing as long as they have the basic essentials and entertainment to keep them busy and occupied.

b) The 18th century was completely different in every way possible...it was musket against musket etc...the military has vast technology at their disposal...assuming they crack down on militias.Your guns wont do much against a tank.

Only two points but it sums up quite well why i think an uprising would never happen.Despite all the gun ho rhetoric on forums.

This is quite old but I do believe this represents what would definitely happen if the government were to try and impose a dictatorship. The people will not stand, or sit, idly by while these people continue to line their own pockets and strip away our freedoms. I would like to see what the feelings by these men and women are today.

I understand where you are coming from but I believe you are making some very HUGE assumptions here.

First, that people aren't going hungry and seeing their families do so.

Second, you are assuming that the military (at least most of it) would follow orders to attack the civilians of this country that they are sworn to defend.

You see, I seriously doubt it would EVER happen to the scale you are thinking. This is from my own experience in and knowing the type of people that most of the soldiers are.

You are probably right,im not an American so you obviously know more about me than the mindset of the american people,but....a violent uprising wouldnt happen,in this day and age i think it would take a presidnet who plays his cards right and really cleans out the system, yes he will be a target for assasaination without a doubt, but if he gets support from factions of this huge dubious and secretive empire america has created,he would have a chance at changing things.

'Do you perceive or are you concerned about a more organised, more pervasive attempt by the Government to target groups like yourself...'

(Or words to that effect, you try memorising it!)

The speaker asks this question twice at the end of part 2! Sounded to me like an informed man quaking in his boots that the game's up! It's a shame the other guy's response was cut off I'd have liked to hear his answer to that...does anyone know if the full session is viewable anywhere?

I will stand with you wherever you are should we need to stand. For my first post after reviewing information from here and several other sources I thought to share something I wrote about a year ago.

I am impressed to express with satirical wisdom the folly of our people, as we are led to ignorance by the patronizing governing body of today. We are no more at ease with our laws that tie than we were with men, who were quick to the draw, which would impose justice found acceptable by the majority.

By our lazy receipt of rule we have found ourselves in position of little option, no more than one can bear in a court for the duration of his funds. It is by this rule that the affluent have taken our voice and hidden our way for they unaided can endure the corruption created for their own aspiration while the represented are personified solely as a faint reminder of what was once our freedom.

We are tied by the hands and guided by chain to the arrangement of surrender, seldom looking where we are led so long as the place we are kept is pleasing to our neighbor. Inquiry not permitted we are exposed to idle our minds with the filth of the artiste so kindly revealing to us the epiphany of dreams unrealized. We are made known what is to be accepted by peers far seen, forgetting our foundation has wasted away.

Numb to our conscience we succumb to our leader, so long that discomfort does not lay in our bed. While our voices praise the immoral and crude we unwittingly fuse as one lazy mass rarely doubted of our intentions so long as we find comfort in what they allow, while we are spat upon for endearing what eagerly waits inside a man’s heart.

Freedom was once a gift for all, to awake and embrace, to be converged upon by masses, unblemished by fools. Forged by God and bought by blood, draped with a mother’s tear, and folded in the threads of the American flag. We are numb to our fervor once gleamed upon as life, forever coveting that we don’t have. Pride of life has gone to die as a wounded eagle whose cry is heard only by those on their own path to death.

For what cause does one need express his discontent? Whose ear shall hear? Surely not the man who’s toilsome labor is consumed by the hunger of the wanton. Whose life work is a mere budget note to them that devour. What wind remains for him who can not feed his own soul and how far will he travel before finding himself alone? I implore you to question have you lived if you are not willing to die. Have you sacrificed when you had nothing to give? These are the expressions of those who gave us liberty. Not put into words, but lived with each breath by them that endured that which they could not.

A wind passed on by blood, embedded in man’s soul, destined to be repeated as it has long been forgotten.

To be free.

We Texans love y'all, but we'll have to take action when Obama becomes president. We'll miss you too.

Texas has given all those complainers plenty of time to get used to the results. After seeing the whiners along the campaign route, the folks from Texas are considering taking matters into our hands.

Here is our solution:

#1: Elect Barak Obama President of the United States.(All 49 states.)

#2: Rick Perry becomes the President of the Republic Of Texas.

So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas.(We will control the space industry.)

2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States.

3. Defense Industry.(We have over 65% of it) The term "Don’t mess with Texas," will take on a whole new meaning.

4. Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years. Yankee states? Sorry about that.

5. Natural Gas - Again we have all we need and it's too bad about those northern states. Barack Obama will figure a way to keep them warm....

6. Computer Industry - we currently lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications: Small places like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Semiconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Delphi, Nortel, Alcatel, Etc, Etc. The list goes on and on.

7. Health Centers - We have the largest research centers for Cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world and other large health planning centers.

8. We have enough colleges to keep us going: UT Texas, A&M, Texas Tech, Rice, SMU, University of Houston, Baylor, UNT, Texas Women's University, Ivy grows better in the south anyway

9. We have a ready supply of workers.(Just open the border when we need some)

10. We have control of the paper industry, plastics, insurance, etc.

11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard. We don't have an army but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an army in 24 hours if we need it. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over a couple Texas Rangers.

12. We are totally self sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables and lets not forget seafood from the gulf. And everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don't need any food.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic Of Texas in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

Now to the rest of the United States under President Obama: Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only Mr. Obama will be able to drive around in his 9 mile per gallon SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.

You won't have any TV as the space center in Houston will cut off your communications. You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes but since Mr. Obama has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas.

Signed, The People in Texas

Have a nice day!

I will begin by stating that I have always been somewhat of a right-wing militia sympathizer. People of this strand reflect a lot of my views on a great number of issues. I also believe they are to be respected for making sacrifices and dedicating their whole lives to defending the Constitution as well as protecting the civil liberties of all.

That last line is something I want to address. Of all. The right-wing militia movement I think can be aptly compared to the perception of the Iraqi insurgency. Many people wrongly assume the Iraqi insurgency, along with Islamic terrorists, are part of some monolithic force, when in reality, the insurgency and Islamic terrorists are one of the most fragmented movements in the world. The right-wing militia group is precisely the same. While we use generalized labels for brevity and while some groups do have plenty in common with one another, the militia movement is quite diverse, as James Johnson demonstrates. Not all are white-oriented and as we see between white supremacist militias, not all have favorable views of one another. Its wrong to blame the media or the establishment for the perpetuation of this view, but lets get it straight that the right-wing militia movement is not some evil monolithic force aimed at terrorizing and subjucating the American people.

Having said that, I have to question the intentions and the more honest feelings behind a lot of these militias and their members. Undoubtedly, many of them represent views us common folk have towards world issues and the government today. Yet for all the sensible talk they deliver, I cannot begin to count the number of these "patriots" who leave chambers of Congress, go back home, log onto the Internet, or appear on some indie documentary and starting spouting words and concepts like "New World Order," "Illuminati," "international bankers," "Freemasons," "Satanism," "Armageddon," "national sovereignty," "the U.N. is too powerful," I can go on forever. Once these words and concepts start coming out of their moves and are used as part of their dialect and their argument, all of a sudden, I realize these people are nothing more than conspiracy theorists who have their own personal vision of what an ideal society should be (only they are willing to act on it). These people are suddenly so detached from reality, and one has to ask, do these people truly represent or have our best interests at heart?

I don't know how many of you are historians or sociologists, but any study of history and sociology (social action/behavior), and I suppose a bit of psychology and geography, can, will, and has debunked every conspiracy theory out there, especially the ones involving the New World Order. It can also explain why things like Enron, abuse of power, and fradulent elections occur, and it shows it is the nature of our system, not a grand conspiracy at work. If these militia leaders are arguing against that, much the way Ron Paul and many sociologists out there do, then they have my support. But if this is just a fancy way of conveying their belief that world events are orchestrated behind-the-scenes as part of a grand, elaborate conspiracy aimed at collectivist world domination, then I condemn these people just as I condemn the politicians in Washington, the business elite on Wall Street, and the special interest groups and the upper-upper class living in Nantucket.

I am also alarmed at these "rebirth" of the right-wing militia movement since Obama declared his candidacy (I am NOT an Obama-supporter, although for reasons other than these absurd conspiracy theories). With people like Sarah Palin at the forefront, along with the comments of Congressman Brown (R-GA), I have to wonder if we're going to see a flurry of right-wing militia activity like we saw in the '90s, when another liberal Democrat was in power. They may feel empowered (at least until Palin and Broun become the new leaders of the power elite) to take a more active role in politics, both non-violent and violent. If that's the case, all I have to ask them is "Where the (expletive) were you the last eight years?" Again, I am not convinced these people are truly looking after out best interests.

As much disdain and disappointment I have for Washington, I have to acknowledge that I really don't know what to believe anymore. People like me are truly on my own, because I think most people are pragmatic and rational when it suits them and all is well, then when things go wrong, they turn into raging populists and conspiracy theorists. The real world isn't enough for them, rather nothing must ever be their fault and it must be due to the omnipotence and evil of people way above them.

I just don't know anymore.

What a problem it will be eventually.

Those vids are unreal. Congress just doesn't get it. They honestly are so braindead, so corrupt, that they don't even understand how far they have fallen.

Folks, you need to be prepared. Now, not later. That means food, water and supplies -- as well as information. If current trends continue, how long do you think it will be until this information is outlawed?
