weird objects in the sky

Hello ATS,

I was quite hesitant about creating this thread as i felt rather silly to be honest, but i felt i needed to discuss this in hope of finding out what it was i spotted in the skies of England, Nottingham this evening (22/10/08) ..

I'm not saying this is an alien craft, but it wasn't "normal". Whilst walking home from work i by chance gazed up at the crystal clear sky and spotted two objects moving in a very bizarre formation and moving erratically, the objects were flying side by side "very close" and making bizarre movements like it had some form of intelligence. Then suddenly the objects seemed to change shape as it moved off at a higher rate of speed. I didn't have my digital camera with me but was able to take several shots of the objects on my mobile phone "nokia n95".

When i put the images on my computer this evening. I was expecting to see an airplane or something. But there is absolutely nothing, just a bizarre object which seems to glow.

Have a look at the photo's and clear this case for me. As I'm very curious as to what other peoples views on this are.

I would like to stress that the photo's have not been altered in any way shape or form. The photo's are displayed in order. Yes the objects seem to change shape or should i say, seems to look alot longer through the images when it's making a sudden jump in speed?

Hi, well done for being quick with your camera, and there's no need to feel silly when you want a second opinion on anything.

Are you saying the white lines are the objects? They look like vapour trails from planes to me. Quite often planes will fly side by side, sometimes one moving ahead of the other, then seeming to slow down and let the other one take the lead. Do you think that might be what you saw? What do you mean when you say there were behaving erratic?

No need to feel silly and the fact that you used you camera means you get the thumbs up from me. In my opinion though, all you are seeing is aircraft heading directly towards you. This gives the impression that the objects are flying straight up.

Good to see someone on the ball.
