January Meteor

I was reading in other articles (on this site) about Biden saying there would be crisis next year that Obama could handle and so on, and then today I came across a blog that said: January 21,22 meteor impact new york, this is what Powell was talking about when he adverted to crisis next year. (the blog not on this site) With the current markets and the 2 wars, it seems strange that powell mentions an upcoming crisis, not one that is currently going on. I have been unable to find anything more on this but maybe someone into astronomy would know better - so - any ideas?

Please post the link for the blog so we can review the content please. This is the only one I know about for January. Edit cause I had a brain fart and posted Asteroid from earlier this year.

Powell was referring to the Biden quote, that's all.
By the way which "war" is the second war you mentioned ?

The 2 wars are Iraq and Afghanistan.
