Although this occurred in 1991 the important thing is it's being made much more public NOW and there is the report of 200 (!!!) files being released by The MoD over the next four years. Nineteen of these files are already online.

An excellent find, unfortunately I won't be able to follow BBC Breakfast since I'm off to work, and I'm in Italy.

On the one hand I applaud the coverage from such a distinguished news site, on the other I'm a little chafed at how the article feels the need to undermine the content at times:

And the files also contain a letter from a woman claiming to be from the Sirius system who said her spacecraft - also containing two "Spectrans" with "Mr Spock ears"

Although I'm glad that the article mentions that the article another solid military source. Which can hopefully be backed up, or a transcript found.
