today a Obama supporter knocked on my door.

at first i didn't know who she was then she gave me a pamphlet asking for support for Obama.
Even went as far as saying America is ready for a change

i was like lady i won't and can not vote for any person..race religion or creed...
If they refuse to show proof there a American citizen.
Furthermore collin powell works under G.W.B..so technically a vote for Obama is a vote for same old
Tired bush politics.
She said i can tell you visit website's like Above top secret..that help to spread lies on Obama.

I said Maybe i do...laughingly
But can you answer a question...
She said yes i can or i will try.
I said is the story API is saying about obama's wife..true
She said i got no idea what API is sir.
I said fair enough lol

And then little red warning light went off....
It might be a coincidence...But she just named a website i frequent allot.

Or is it some supporter's use this site to get our messed up story's and crap we get from the internet..to turn it against us at later time's.

I had a McCain posse come to my door, tell me some crap about how I had to vote for the REpublican party because democrat votes in the county were up by 2/3rds... like they shouldn't be, after the job the Repubs have been doing.

It's a fact of life, they come and go, they can do that.

It's not like they're forcing you to vote a certain way.

Just smile and nod and wait for the 5th.. that is if you open your door next time.

Edit: I don't know what site it was, but if it was a busy one, it could have been coincidenta if it was a busy one, or one local to your area, but if not, that is trange.

I havent had a visitor, but I have had a couple of phone calls that started out like a telemarketting call. When I ask what the nature of the call is, they start talking politics, asking me if I know what party or candidate I plan to vote for. My stock answer is that I choose not to discuss this on the phone and hang up as they are thanking me for my time.

An Obama supporting visitor would probably not like showing up at my door. It might go something like:

Supporter: "Hi, I would like to talk to you about the coming vote and am here to discuss the Democratic candidate, Barack Obama."

Me: "Sorry, I am not a socialist and prefer not to live under another 4 years of facist rule."

Door closes, supporter leaves. My dogs bark until they are gone.

As to the ATS reference, it would be crazy to think that military and government members are not here. We exercise one of our most basic rights, sometimes well over the top of what we would do in public, which clues those in power as to a small pulse of the world's growing level of knowledge, find the militant and get to hear about coming revolution.

Oh and get this someone shot my outside dog in the head yesterday around 6 am before we was awake.

shot him point blank in the head..and he lived.
apparently he got off his chain..btw it's a log chain .
he is 100 pound dog. anything else he breaks
But still my dog ends up shot then this....
kinda freaky folks

btw he is alive bullet went in one side out the other..but he is a trooper
deaf in one ear blind in one.
but still good for point blank shot to the head i reckon.

This site seems to get quite a bit of attention...and rightfully so. Although it can get nasty here....i love to be able to express and share my opinions with others. Sorry for the offtopic post.

And this is relevant to this thread, why? I mean, aside from trying to give a conscious or subconscious relationship Obama supporters and the incident involving your dog. Otherwise, why bring this up at all?

Well as any paranoid ATS user..

put 2 and 2 together came up ..would someone shoot my dog to get even with me for something...
nope i am a well liked person and all of my neighbors know my dog is not mean in any way.

so a stranger out of the blue shot my dog..in a small town
point blank in the temple with a handgun..execution style ...

then the lady said that about ATS...

What if they are spying....possibly even shot my dog that morning to show me..

then i wouldn't have had any idea to who shot him....

I've seen Obama and his supporters accused of some desperate things: yesterday I saw Obama accused of 'witchcraft'. Today, I read that you believe Obama campaigners tried to kill your dog; presumably because you snubbed them on the doorstep.

Actually, I'm not sure whether pathetic is right after all as 'deluded' and 'desperate' seem to be equally good definitions.

Wow! I had Barry Soetoro supporters knocking on my door as well. Funny thing is that I have a city issued no solicitation sticker on my front door posted next to the door bell. I suppose being able to read is not a prerequisite for the door to door community organizers . Seems like a trend to me.

I don't know.. That sounds a little far fetched that she mentioned ATS.. I'm not saying that you made it up, it just seems a little to coincidental for me. There are a lot of people out there that are getting recruited for door to door solicitation for votes. I think no matter who they are campaigning for, its very invasive to knock on someones door and tell them who to vote for. I would have closed the door on them. I'm not a rude person, but that is very presumptuous. Thanks for sharing.

A McCain supporter knocked on my door yesterday and said, "Oh my god it's round_eyed_dog!". We then climbed upon his magical unicorn and flew to Greenland to have bubble tea with Neil Patrick Harris. Mounting again the magical steed we returned to my abode.

As for your 'theory', because, as a I said, it seems pretty desperate. 'Oh noes! Obama's supporters shot my dog! They is teh evil liek their master!!1'

Even if you're not saying it explicitly, the only reason you mentioned it at all is to get people to make that mental connection themselves. Otherwise, why mention the shooting of your dog in this particular thread?

I'm another poster who wonders about the veracity of the claims in this thread.

That really should tell you something... Lies are being spread here. YOU are believing them and spreading them.

ATS is a huge website. I'm absolutely certain that Obama's campaign has people who are scouring the discussion boards, seeing the crap that's out there. They probably LOVE me! Obama's people know how to run a campaign. They have their fingers on the pulse. They're not just sitting back hoping everything turns out ok.
