I apologize if this has been posted already. The search function doesn't seem to be working. I did check and didn't see it.

I watched a clip of McCain on David Letterman tonight. Dave seemed to put him on the spot, but I didn't see the anger come out that I've read about. He asked him about Sarah Palin and the Obama paling around with terrorists claim that has been heard throughout the campaign.

I missed it on tv, but there is a clip of it here:

Did anyone watch it on tv tonight? Was there more to it that just this clip?

I just finished watching that as I was flipping through channels.
Didn't catch it all though.
Dave seemed really surprised when some folks in the audience started cheering in favor of a few comments made by McCain.

Just saw the article where the show last night with McCain was the highest rated show for Letterman since Oprah was on in 2005.

Must be all those Obama supporters huh?

I watched it, didn't think he'd get that big of a reaction from the audience at times. Seems though he did good to me.
And that link to the CBS site works, but when I attempt to watch the video it wont work, it'll keep stopping when I press play.

So here is a alternative link for anyone else experiencing the same problem.

I have to hand it over to McCain, he didn't cancel last minute to attend some crisis.
Letterman asked him some hard-hitting questions.

McCain did well. I have never liked Letterman as he and his writers are not funny at all.

Letterman gave McCain a deeper grilling than anyone else has to date, it was almost like a 1 person debate.

I think the audiences reaction is just a perfect example of the surprises we should expect come election day.
