CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — A suburban St. Louis high-rise office building was evacuated Thursday after what some witnesses described as an explosion. Witnesses said one person may have been hurt, but that was not immediately confirmed. The evacuation at the building in Clayton happened just after 11 a.m., and several neighboring buildings were also evacuated as a precaution.

Edit: I am sorry, I guess I should have put this in breaking alternative news. Mods if you could do me the favor... Forgive me

There is little detail coming out of this situation. I saw a brief clip of it on Headline News but nothing else, had to do a quick google search and found about 3 stories on this, all very vague.

How did this story end up in the "general conspiracy" section?

Thanks so much man, I have been trying to find some more information but it doesn't look like I am going to find much. I wonder what the motive behind this was?

I work (and was) in the building in which the explosion occurred in St. Louis (Clayton). It was a box left in our reserved "secured" parking area. There was another box found during the search this afternoon. Most of the details are accurate that you can find at kmov.com. One man was injured but coherent when he was loaded into the ambulance.

I can now say with certain authority that this story is being CRUSHED by the media.

Since I first learned of it I've talked with 4 major outlets and gave them the story only to be stonewalled. There's a reason this story isn't being picked up and now I'm determined to figure out why. Are they afraid of copycats? Or was it a *failed operation*?

I have had that same feeling. I think there is more too this. Do you think it could be someone getting upset over the whole situation? I think this is the first of many events like this to come. U2U me with some more info if you find anything bro. It is just odd that there is no news about this.....

same story as the AP story but with some pictures... it is kinda strange that it hasn't hit the "big" news huh? Maybe CNN and FOX only go for the bloodier stories?

another source

Thats what I was thinking, maybe its not BIG enough for them but I would think that an explosion in a building on US soil would be news worthy...

Edit: I mean gosh, the ATF is investigating. I think that would make it slightly newsworthy

An update for you from STL from my previous post. . . it apparently was a failed attempt. We found out at last night from an officer at about 11:00 pm when they released some of the cars in the parking garage that the explosion we heard and felt which caused the 20 foot fireball was only the acceleratent. The actual bomb portion did not detonate. The target or cause has not been released to us at this time. Our building has been cleared to enter as of this morning.

I work in Clayton at Enterprise Rent A Car.
This story is dead in the water.
No one is talking about it.
Some theories were that it was a hit.
Looking into it further.

I found out a little more about this bombing. Apparently the bomb went off in the parking spot of a senior counsel at Armstrong Teasdale, a large law firm based in downtown St. Louis.
I also found it a little odd that on Friday there was an older gentleman rammed his SUV containing cylinders of natural gas and containers of gasoline into the law office of McCamy, Phillips, Tuggle and Fordham on West Crawford Street Friday morning before walking behind the building and throwing an explosive device at it.
They are saying that the two are related but it does kinda strike me kinda odd that I really haven't heard much about these two events.

Wow what a claim, can you elaborate a bit on what you experienced? Very glad to know that you are safe.

OK I just followed the link stated above about the Teasdale Law firm and found out that an ex United States District Judge has joined the firm. He would be the most high profile person there and would be the first choice for a revenge hit if the post also above is correct. Here is the link:

I am going to go check out the other links as well brb if anyone wants to brain storm this...

I personally know one of the Bomb and arson detectives and he told me that they do not know who did it yet and are still investigating.
They have no motive as of yet either. Sorry but this is no conspiracy from where I sit.

For what it's worth.

Why not see it as a conspiracy? No leads? Come on, there is something very wrong about this situation. And the rate it is being pushed down on this forum leads me into suspicion about it. Law Firms just dont get hit, it is a rare occurance and one right after another? Hum, I hope the OP stays on this one because it could be the start of a terror network in our country.

No problem man, it was just by chance that I saw this. I was actually eating a Mexican restaurant and they had on the Spanish news network and I caught it. Went home and searched around but I do find is odd that is happening at the same time of the "white powder" letters to major banks. I do find these to be a little disturbing and personally think that you could be right...

Edit: Spelling
