America, as fragile as fine crystal...

...now why is that?

We have nearly a perfect government (granted the beuraucracy sucks a bit but still...) perfect!

I mean where else do you have it, where you have nearly 50/50 leftists and conservatives, with a few third parties and independants, that allows it so our political spectrum shifts in the "direction" it needs to to get the job done.

In 1930s it shifted far left, in 1940s it shifted far right....so on...and we have had this near political equillibrium for 200 years.

It's a phenomenon I tell you, that has not even been achieved by our closest political neighbors, the Britts....whom have always had a lean to the left, more recently.

But as for US, the whole political spectrum can shift in a mater of 2 years, and shift back again if need be.

This is incredibly rare...no other nation on earth is like this!

Why us? What goes on in our country to do this?
