I'm stating that they have to go along with what their political parties agenda is for or it's not going to be as easy to get their vote. They have to do that or the wouldn't have gotten nominated in the first place. NWO? Please.....

And i can assure you...the people out there right now who are struggling to get food and stay afloat would surely disagree with you.

there are some who are struggling to stay afloat who also recognize that our children's children need a future as well. Some think longer than 20 years down the road.

So again, who in the dem party is pulling Obama's strings? Unless you know something, you are just making a blind assumption

You are trying to make more out of what i stated than what i actually mean. Would Obama be able to run on the Republican ticket? No, because he goes against the republican agenda and ideals. That's my point.

And of course i'm worried about how our country and world is left to our children. It would be wrong to think otherwise, but i'm on the brink of losing my job because of our failing economy. The last thing on my mind is going to global warming. If i can't feed my own kids....that's a much larger problem. Feeding my family and keeping a roof over their heads will ALWAYS be more important than the environment. Sorry, that's just a fundamental difference that you and i have.

BUT, I voted, which is most important...

This is what scares ('scare' is a strong word, but since that was the word used by the individual who started the thread, I will use it...I prefer 'concerns') me about Obama...

McCain could be subtlety inferring that we "SHOULD" be afraid of Obama, which 'could' cause people to stop and think "Gee, should we fear this guy?"...

To the citizens of the United States of America from Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
In light of your failure in recent years to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.
Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas, which she does not fancy).
Your new Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, will appoint a Governor for America without the need for further elections.
Congress and the Senate will be disbanded.
A questionnaire may be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed.
To aid in the transition to a British Crown Dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect:
(You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary.)
1. Then look up aluminium, and check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at just how wrongly you have been pronouncing it.
------------------------
2. The letter 'U' will be reinstated in words such as 'colour', 'favour' and 'neighbour.' Likewise, you will learn to spell 'doughnut' without skip ping half the letters, and the suffix '-ize' will be replaced by the suffix '-ise'. Generally, you will be expected to raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. (look up 'vocabulary').
------------------------
3. Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as "like" and "you know" is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. There is no such thing as US English. We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell- checker will be adjusted to take account of the reinstated letter 'u' and the elimination of -ize.
-------------------
4. July 4th will no longer be celebrated as a holiday.
-----------------
5. You will learn to resolve personal issues without using guns, lawyers, or therapists. The fact that you need so many lawyers and therapists shows that you're not quite ready to be independent. Guns should only be used for shooting grouse. If you can't sort things out without suing someone or speaking to a therapist then you're not ready to shoot grouse. ----------------------
6. Therefore, you will no longer be allowed to own or carry anything more dangerous than a vegetable peeler. A permit will be required if you wish to carry a vegetable peeler in public.
----------------------
7. All intersections will be replaced with roundabouts, and you will start driving on the left with immediate effect. At the same time, you will go metric with immediate effect and without the benefit of conversion tables.
Both roundabouts and metrication will help you understand the British sense of humour.
--------------------
8. The Former USA will adopt UK prices on petrol (which you have been calling gasoline)-roughly $10/US gallon. Get used to it.
-------------------
9. You will learn to make real chips. Those things you call French fries are not real chips, and those things you insist on calling potato chips are properly called crisps. Real chips are thick cut, fried in animal fat, and dressed not with catsup but with vinegar.
-------------------
10. The cold tasteless stuff you insist on calling beer is not actually beer at all. Henceforth, only proper British Bitter will be referred to as beer, and European brews of known and accepted provenance will be referred to as Lager. South African beer is also acceptable as they are pound for pound the greatest sporting Nation on earth and it can only be due to the beer. They are also part of British Commonwealth - see what it did for them. American brands will be referred to as Near-Frozen Gnat's Urine, so that all can be sold without risk of further confusion.
---------------------
11. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as good guys. Hollywood will also be required to cast English actors to play English characters. Watching Andie MacDowell attempt English dialogue in Four Weddings and a Funeral was an experience akin to having one's ears removed with a cheese grater.
---------------------
12. You will cease playing American football. There is only one kind of proper football; you call it soccer. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which has some similarities to American football, but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full Kevlar body Armour like a bunch of nancies). Don't try Rugby - the South Africans and Kiwis will thrash you, like they regularly thrash us.
---------------------
13. Further, you will stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the World Series for a game which is not played outside of America. Since only 2.1% of you are aware that there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable. You will learn cricket, and we will let you face the South Africans first to take the sting out of their deliveries.
--------------------
14. You must tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us mad.
-----------------
15. An internal revenue agent (i.e. tax collector) from Her Majesty's Government will be with you shortly to ensure the acquisition of all monies due (backdated to 1776).
---------------
16. Daily Tea Time begins promptly at 4 pm with proper cups, with saucers, and never mugs, with high quality biscuits (cookies) and cakes; plus strawberries (with cream) when in season.
God Save the Queen.

I don't like Obama. His candidacy is inappropriate. We are in the middle of a war and he pops up and decides to run for President. In what way can his behavior be considered RESPONSIBLE?

He's never been an executive, not even completed one term in the US Senate and from what I have been told he didn't really take many legislative positions while in the Illinois Senate.

He's done nothing for this country, not him or his male line ancestors. Not one road, not one acre of crops, not one cow milked. He's here taking and taking and now someone has convinced him that he should be President.

He, his wife and all the people that support him and made this "historic" moment possible have apparently decided along with everyone else in the world that the Americans need to be taught a lesson for some reason. I know the reason but won't discuss it in this place.

Now that he's on the ballot, I have to listen how he's trying to attract voters between 18-24. Its all legal but completly distasteful. This group of people should not be allowed to vote if they will permit their vote to be exploited in such a transparent way. I find it difficult to believe that a MAN could live with himself knowing that he's pinning his hopes on the least qualified voters in society.

So I dont fear Obama as president, but he better pull a rabbit out of a hat if he makes it to the White House and show us all what it is we need to learn from him. I personally think he'll embarrass himself.

His relationship to the polish guy who's name I can't spell and George Soros don't help. I mean how many monster's will get to live in the White House before this nightmare is finished?

No, they are not staying. Now, with Obama, they are bringing in the squad featuring Jimmy Carter and Zbigniew Brzezinski with Pahlavi, Soros and the Aga Khan playing in the background.

They're is just something offensive about all of these people and I personally plan to do everything I can to make the next four years of their lives, if Obama wins, a living Hell!!

I dont even know where to begin. Hes not responsible cause he decides to run for office in the middle of a war??? He doesn't have much experience?

I remember a certain W. that had less than a term as gov running against Al Gore, who had 8 years in the executive branch with 20 years of gov service before that. But you all picked the guy with lesser exp. but now you come crying about exp?

And 18-24 year old's shouldn't vote because they are being deceived by Obama? Last time I checked, if an 18-24 year old can die for our country, they can vote for whoever they damn well please.

Congrats for making the most stupid post ever.

It's simple, unlike other western countries USA only have 2 parties that have a realistic chance of winning.

The republicans have ruined the economy, ruined United States reputation, launched an illegal invasion of a souvereign county and motivated it with pure lies causing 100´000's of dead and wounded civilans and american soldiers, failed to do win against thel enemy in the war on terror, caused a financial meltdown.... The list goes on and on.

It's unbelievable how John McSame is just behind 10 points. He is the republican candiate, the same party that caused this mess!

Obama is the candidate that opposed the war based on lies in Iraq. The candidate that pointed out that al Qaida had its bases in the border between Afhanistan and Pakistan and NOT in Iraq.

President Bush is the one with shady business ties to Saudi Arabia, including the Bin Laden family. Why don't people question that now when its out in the open thanks to Michael Moore?!

Perhaps you should begin by researching your facts! George Bush was in his second term as Governor of Texas before he ran for President. His father was President and Director of the CIA and his Grandfather was a Senator. His family has a history in this country going back to before the Union. The point is, at least he comes from a background of people that have done something for this country. The Obama's have done nothing, not one thing, ever. They only take, take, take and see what they can get, get, get. That's just the kind of person he is and the type of person he appeals to.

With the exception of Peru, considering the facts of his background, in no other country on Earth would Barack Hussein Obama be able to run for the highest political office in the land! And I am not just talking about large industrial nations, but that includes countries like Haiti.

Legally 18-24 year olds have the vote; nothing that can be done about that. Its a matter of principle. Obama, or the people managing his campaign and their win at all costs mentality, shows that the man is morally questionable. He should try and convince a Man why he should be followed.

He's trying to seduce the children of this nation. Apparently he considers this appropriate behavior. Oh yeah, its legal.

And you get the award for having the best playback. You just parroted what the TV told you perfectly.

The economy is just fine. What you are witnessing is the aftermath of an attack upon the American, Global, economy. An attack that targeted the financial system and was supposed to get everyone mad at the Repubicans. An attack probably lauched by Obama supporters. But I bet you don't believe in Financial WMDs. This is quite obvious to me. I am not sure why you'd even think I'd believe that Republican policies, or the policies of any political party, could collapse the economy of the entire planet.

Of course Obama opposed the war in Iraq, he knew from the beginning it was a set up to humiliate America. He's probably getting intelligence updates from the people we are fighting against. Nevertheless, the war was going to be fought, either here or there. Seems that it will be a little of both.

But I don't take security advice from a man who can't even claim to have ever been in a fist fight. Being a pu$$y should disqualify him from being commander-in-chief of the armed forces and chief law enforcement officer of the nation.

I won't get into a big thing concerning accusations against Bush or his wheeling and dealings. If he did something take him to court.

I don't vote at all, never have. Don't plan to vote this time. Furthermore, since I know how a democratic system works, I know Obama won't be president. Nevertheless, I wanted to point out what's wrong with his candidacy.

Thousands of Fain's died in the Civil war, fighting for both sides. Thousands died in the British War of Conquest prior to the formation of the Republic. We all fight in every war. I may be poor judge of character, but unlike you I am an American, so I decide what is appropriate for this place and what is not. Obama is out of place.
