It's obviously fake. No steadycam after many months of observations? no physical landmarks shown? come on hoaxers, you can do better than that!

I totally agree, the footage is useless.....

I agree also that it's a hoax

For instance the close up shots of the "ufo" are always with a black background. You would think that the shot would zoom in from a wide angle shot to the up close shot. The up close shot also isn't as shaky.

I think its fake.

The best recent year for hoaxers had to have been 2007. You had all sorts of interesting stories, videos, and pictures.

If folks in this thread aren't familiar with the Isaac CARET drones:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Just an example of the quality and effort put into this hoax:

isaaccaret.fortunecity.com...

isaaccaret.fortunecity.com...

Once you've muddled about within that thread, compare that to this. You'll be more then able to spot these traps if you go back and read up on quality attempts at tricking folks at ATS.

and who's to say this is not our governments preparing?

The reason why I posted this is because I am not a video expert, and when I came across this video, I thought it would be learning experience because how the footage looked. I knew that some members of ATS could help debunking this footage and they were a great help, but I have to I am disappointed with some members to scream out hoax without any evidence. In addition, to the one person that posted something along the line that people that joined ATS less than year will fall for anything well that is ridiculous I was going to this site for over a year before joined in. Again I learned a lot from this post thanks for the knowledge.

Great videos very similar objects that I have been videoing over the ocean and over my street. My friend was in Turkey two weeks ago he rang me and told me he & his totally skeptic girlfriend had seen a strange object hovering above the Sea. Very near to where this video was filmed.

Stills taken from the Turkish video

Some of mine

Hi There,

The video of the alleged separate recording dates and times certainly provide for a compelling viewing experience, especially when the clarity of the shape becomes distinctive against the black background.

I have to say that the scenes over the water could quite easily be oil rigs in the distance, and considering that there are a number of fishermen around, none of them seem to be paying too much notice to the lights. This suggests familiarity with the environment and the objects in it, and I would expect early morning fishermen to be quite aware of anything new in the environment, particularly anything new over the water.

So, as compelling as this is, I lean more to sceptism. Don't get me wrong, there is something there. It is outside, it is some distance away, but the water scenes rouse my suspicion, and thus for me, cast doubt over the night scenes. I reserve the right to be proved wrong, but I do not see that occurring...certainly not by reason of argument.

Now see, what?

And these useless filters are supposed to show us, what?

And we are supposed know these are enhanced images of, what?

Please explain. And don't forget to back them up with verifiable common sense and facts.

Thanks.

I say fake, because you never see him zoom in on the lights straight to the craft, if you know what I mean.
He goes from lights, to stop record, to visible craft.
Had he been able to go straight from lights to craft all in one take I'd be impressed

If this was faked, and I'm not saying it is. Would it be possible to do using the same software used in this video?
Here is the link in case the video doesn't embed.

I have a very hard time believing this is legit. If it was occurring as often as it did, then why didn't the "UFO Expert" have a decent tripod that would have allowed him to have stability and a smooth glide system to allow extremely fluid spans of the ship in motion and the surrounding areas. .

Also, why did the "UFO Expert" who filmed this not invest in a Higher Quality camera with a much higher quality lenses? I mean he only had several dozen times to film it. You would think that, if it is an important as he is saying, that he would have invested in better equipment.

Also, the "UFO" looks like a bike fender / wheel cover with some ornate metallic fittings on it. It also never turns any other direction.

I am going to label this a HOAX, either that, or the "UFO Expert" was just extremely ignorant and unwilling to invest in appropriate equipment.

Personally if I had UFOs leisurely flying by my home on a regular basis I would probably purchase a decent High Definition Camcorder with an adapter to attach a high quality zoom lenses. I would also invest in a tripod with a high degree of motion to allow me to capture it at nearly every angle. IF it only appeared at night I may even look into investing in high quality night vision optics.

As we all know, real UFO footage would literally be priceless. But of course if it was that high quality folks who scream Hoax, and the government would probably confiscate it or take it down before it had spread too far.

a hoax for me too. the ufo looks like it's hanging from strings or something, it doesn't change angles at all. there is also no zooming out of the surroundings, the ufo doesn't change much either.

Fake because you never see him zoom in on the lights, right? Well this is a new one
for my golden notebook of the best debunking phrases for 2008, I will write it at once.
Funny way to make a debunk by a simple phrase, I will have to alert all those millions
skywatchers around the world to apply their videocamera's zoom when recording Ufos
or their evidences will be taken as fakes, zoom must be applied to validate any UFO
sighting, period.

More shakly night time video footage? Has anyone ever thought that the reason why we have tons of shaky night time out of focus video footage instead of clear day time footage is that with the help of daylight the objects can easily be identified?!?!?

How come all these objects are such a distance away from the camera? Surely one of the objects has to be near to somebody.....but if it was you would be able to identify exactly what it is!

I'll say it again. Given the number of cameras in peoples pockets (phones) and the increasing resolution and ISO range of digital cameras there is no longer any excuse for a long range shaky out of focus dull image. Oh and surely there is a lampost nearby against which you rest a camera?

it very well could be a fake, or some scheme to up local sales profits... but do a little research on the startling amount of recently recorded "UFO Sightings" above large bodys of water. I live on lake erie and have seen glowing orbs appear and dissapear in very odd fashions above the water for months now. There are also a number of video's to support this claim. Just a little odd and worth mention at least.

A good screen cap to prove Badge01's theory.
A decent attempt at a hoax, but a hoax.
