I have not seen this happen but there is a reason for this. ATSNN takes priority over ATS. If there is a crapy post of an article on ATS, a reporter will make a better quality one on ATSNN. It does not matter who made the thread first. If someone makes a thread about it on ATS and it is great quality then it might get upgraded. I do not know why the thread would be deleated.

Tactic 3 -- Packing the Meeting
Tactic 7 -- They will refuse to give out information, or make it impossible to get it

I can see there are extremely few that are at all interested in logically examining a premise only demonstrating tactics at leading off topic, trashing a thread or the author of the thread.

You talk of logically examining a premise, yet you persist, time and time again, to simply twist the words of the majority, to suit the needs of yourself. When I gave an example of the board not being controlled, you chose to merely point out the fact the board had been moved; if you have any evidence of information control then why not specifically state it, instead of going around the opposition, which you, yourself, are inducing by continually demonstrating these unconcluded, steps, which you seem to consider axioms.

I have little doubt that you will subside your "accusations" towards the information conspiracy, nor will you end your word-twisting of other posters.

Listen to the majority of the people who have posted on this thread, stop being narrow-minded and, above all, listen to what is being said. There have been numerous opposing statements (from the likes of Seekerof and SkepticOverlord, for example) that you apparently took no notice of, choosing to simply re-state your "steps of conspiracy".

at this point I'm ready to agree with FI -1 and ask the mods to just close this damn thread and let's be guilty of Information control....

Edit: I also think this thread should stay on here for a while to let users read up on this. Maybe the Mods could close it when the argument comes to an end, but not delete it so it's still readable.

In fact, what's with this stupid thread even getting posts? Sheesh, a guy is gone for two days installing a wireless network and all stupidity breaks loose.

What you have said in past posts FieryIce1, and even in the quote above is in essence no matter what ANYONE says...they are wrong.

No matter what course they take, they are wrong.
If they don't agree - they are not seeing the "truth".
If they ask for proof, they are misleading.
Saying there is no conspiracy, they are covering up.
They say to end the thread - oh, pack the meeting tactic 3.

The only truth for you is your own "truth" whether it is real or not.

I do think that you have seen too many A-team episodes myself, but if you want to think you are so far out ahead of everyone, that is your business. It's too bad you can't actually see that you are so far behind, you think your in first place.

I still believe ET3 and yourself are the same people, or are married, or maybe even conjoined twins. But none the less spend your time in a more constructive way. Not to take sides but the way I see it the thread is allowed to continue and from what FI says with the approval of SO then I would think that if anyone dont have any relevant info other than making jokes or asking the thread be closed should refrain from posting in this thread. Sure makes itlook like a gang-up otherwise.

This is a seriously messed up situation in my opinion. You have FI who made what I think is a valid point in the initial post and has demonstrated that these tactics ARE in use here. People debunking him (her?), resorting to other tactics and, this is the one I like, accusing FI of simply wanting to rack up points by posting to a topic they have no real interest in.

On the other hand, FI seems to have altered their mode of thinking to suit any argument put forward to them - thus making themselves an obvious target.

With regards to the lack of posting for some articles � what can I say�..? Personally, I am not �in it for the points� which is why it is rare that I post � I prefer to read and learn. I have made a few posts that have been replied to and some that, I thought, were excellent subject which were completely ignored. Am I bitter about it? YOU BET! ;o) Do I let it ruin my day? HELL NO!

In the final analysis, this board contains such a diverse cross section of the global demographics that it would be UNREASONABLE to expect that every post was accepted and replied to be everyone. It�s simply not going to happen. And�.if you�re unhappy with this situation (for whatever reason), stop coming on the board. I have been on a few forums where there is a characteristic to whinge and moan � what do I do? I stop going. Their loss, not mine.

An initial post like this one perpetuates itself � people fall over themselves to either agree or disagree but�it�s all semantics. And I�m now guilty of relighting the fire.

No matter what is said, no matter what the logic....you will believe it anyway. No different than a bias media story I suppose.

So, if you want to take you findings as serious objectionable "research"...then power to you. I think you lack credibility in any claim you make, and have only have proven that you can outright lie and trick people into getting the findings you want. You claim the government or ATS is using Information Control, but you did exactly what you claimed to be against, in order to gather your "proof".

Now, how's that for information control?
