Lets get it out there....tell us what you think and how you feel....no need to debate anymore, lets spread our frustrations all over the web...get it down and get pissed....we all need to vent...

OK me first.....

I want Obama to win. i am sick of the republicans, and their garbage. In the past 8 years the country has be buried, and nothing progressive has been done to stop it. I will agree that McCain MIGHT have been a maverick in the past, but now he is a joke of a puppet. Palin is even a bigger joke, who has nothing to add to the leadership of this country. I think that Obama is going to put himself out there and lead the country with the interest of MOST of us in mind. McCain doesnt give a crap about you or your family.... If you think that he does then you are probably the same person that voted for Bush twice....wake up...your time is done and so is your stronghold on the control of americans fear...we need to live free without worrying about the next threat that you'll have the media create for us. We are Americans and we are NOT going to fail anymore.

They both don't give a rat's behind about us. Obama is a socialist and McCain is Bush version 2.0

Damned either way

I couldn't agree more. You always hear folks say "vote for the lesser of two evils." But as many have pointed out before, at what point does casting a "vote for the lesser of the two evils" become just evil? I'm either not voting at all or voting for an independent candidate. If forced to pull the level for McCain or Obama, I'd vote for McCain. At least he is not presenting himself as a savior to the world.

Assuming every vote counts (or even really matters), I predict an Obama win. Not that it matters either way.

I had a bad feeling about GWB...
Once I realized what FOX did calling Florida early I knew my fears were well deserved.
I think these past 8 years have been a complete disaster. I watched the fear mongering and nationalism transform into a blank check of bad will. I cannot even begin to list the quasi evil, certainly sociopathic policies and blunders. Katrina, Iraq,
GITMO, ENRON, PLAME, ABRAMOFF, LIBBY, PATRIOT ACT, INFLATION, DEBT, FORECLOSURES, BACK ROOM DEALS, GAS PRICES, CALIFORNIA ENERGY CRISIS,
BANK FAILINGS, JOB LOSSES, TRICKLE DOWN, VOTER FRAUD, NO PROOF NO CRIME....

I am SO sick and tired of this stuff already... At times I am glad I am not face to face with some of the folks on ATS. I might seriously bloody someone beyond recognition.
It is very hard to sit around and watch your country go down the obvious path of oblivion. In a way it seems like the SOUL of the US has been crapped upon and a stampeded by an ideology that is completely rotten.

At the core of my political anger issues are the voters... For the life of me I can not understand why people think TORTURE IS FINE, TICKLE DOWN is good for the middle class, IRAQ is not a waste of time money blood security and stature... I think the world is glad I am not PRESIDENT because I would suspend BUSH TWICE voter rights pending and IQ test.

Another point is I am sick being called a LIBERAL like the "N" word. Once again I have already choked a guy at a rally in real life. I lost control and he smiled at me in the most condescending way and I snapped. I am worried that if the balance is not restored
that I would be the first to pick up arms and fight THE REDS again. If I go a step further, I could say I would be happy enough if the west coast could just leave the UNION.

At time I wonder if this division is by design? Regardless I am convinced that MCCAIN and PALIN are not any different than BUSH.

I have no evidence that indicates that Mccain will be an advocate for the MAJORITY of working class AMERICA. I believe if AMERICA was in a strong position this would not matter... The rich could receive the majority of consideration and AMERICA could survive. However I DO NOT think we can survive anymore of the pillage and plunder.

As far as Mccain is concerned: HE ACTIVELY used his position of power to help
LINCOLN SAVINGS AND LOAN to steel from people. I understand it is by gone,
however I think it speaks volumes about his ability to do the same in the future.
HIS actions were DEPLORABLE and CRIMINAL...

As far as PALIN... I think her recent talk is DISGUSTING - The reason I feel this way is because it is a form of divide and conquer. It is of the same attitude that says it is OK to torture, it is OK to use fear as a form of control.

I am voting for Obama because I think AMERICA needs an intellectual, a self made man, forward thinker and a champion for the majority of AMERICANS who live paycheck to paycheck. I agree that HEALTH CARE is a RIGHT, we are the engine of AMERICA - and if it is for the people by the people - then this is the one area that we
must progress. I DO NOT like socialism, HOWEVER, I think a persons well health should no longer be a part of the CAPITALIST way! There are millions of ways to make a buck,
but no longer in this arena.

I was doing some family lineage research at ancestry.com and they have a section up on the genealogies of Obama, McCain, Palin and Biden. As I'm sure you're aware, Obama and Cheney are cousins. What's more, Palin has a lineage of some sort back to FDR and another link to Princess Diana. Just throwing that out there for debate or insight.

Holy crap!!! Now Obama is linked to Cheney!! Thats a game changer!!!!! LOL

And wow...i'll bet Princess Diana was part of the Alaskan independence party!!!!

Who i'll vote for? I don't want to vote for either one. Neither candidate speaks to me. Both lie their butts off. They BOTH spin their own agendas. They both voted for the freakin bailout and i despise both of them for it.

My deciding factor? Who are these guys? What do they REALLY stand for? What is their past? They both have dirt on them...as they are politicians and it's impossible for them not to.

As of right now, I lean to McCain. Obama needs to prove to me...IMO...that he is genuine...which as of right now i have very serious doubts.

Lay it all out? Well here it is. I am sick and tired of people telling me to vote Democratic or Republican. I am tired of people thinking those are the only two choices. The lesser of two evils IS still evil and they are both evil. Both parties are so busy pointing fingers at the other party in an effort to cover their own bumbling. They both lie, cheat and steal just the same. I am not saying that all politians are bad, but seriously how many are good? 2%? What are they going to do against the other 98%. I refuse to be bullied into voting for either part anymore. I don't want either one to win. I want more people to step up to the plate on voting day and say no to both parties. But instead when they get to the voting booth they will do the same thing they have always done and they will vote either Democratic or Republican. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would make it my personal mission in life to oust every single D&R out of Washington and the states.

The current candidate choices are just like a two edged sword.

Were gonna get sliced and diced no matter which way it swings.

Cheers!!!!

I just came across this. Was Barack Obama planted? and Obamas international marxist and socialist connections.
It makes you wonder.
I used to think the same thing about Clinton and his trip during college to Moscow. Who paid for it?
Palin, kin to FDR? news.scotsman.com
Everybody kin and playing good cop/bad cop.
Hmmmm,...are we criminals?

I am NOT voting for Obama because......

1. He is a liberal.

Anything else I say about him might be considered political trolling, so I will leave it at that.

Has anyone found out, yet, about Obamas cousin odenga and whether his political 'socialism' WAS what led to the murders and riots in Kenya after Obama campaigned for him in 2006????
Very curious.

No thats is the place you have made for him. Noone calls hime the savior of the world.

I get tired of hearing people bash someone they apparently know nothing about. Mccain is so tired and last age its not going to cut. The people expect so much from him its disgusting. Americans of color demand he does this that and this, your ever day joe expects this guy to be like a savior, "he has to be able to do this, he has to save us". You obama bashers are drowning in your own confusion. And most of you represent him for the wrong reasons.

I think its funny that people compare mccain to cheney and bush. In the Palin debate with Biden, he compared those two to bush and cheney a few times and she wanted to back pedal on old subjects. Open your eyes we demand so much from a representative of the country. I believe mccain does not represent the "american". This is just my opinion, I know others feel otherwise.

When you are in the position we are in, what those individuals stand for is not really relevant unless they can apply it to our current state of emergency. The next steps in "poilicing the world" must be executed with extreme precision and in the correct order or this can be the very end. I hope whoever whens can make the right decision. But Mccain is the old-fashioned, style that doesnt quite fit the modern picture.
Just my 7 sense
Obama for prez!
Peace to all
sorry for typos

I don't like either one, but I am going to vote for McCain. Obama has to many ties to anti america activist. The Ayers connection could just be an unfortunate mistake and he truly didn't know what he stood for. His connection to Rev. Wright though is really bothersome for me. How in the world could he not know what he was preaching if he sat in his pews for 20 years and was his mentor? Before this story broke he told a story of how this man married him and his wife. But lets say he really didn't know about Rev. Wrights views. What about him representing ACORN as their lawyer and later donating thousands of dollars to them when he became a Senator?

In politics you meet alot of shady characters and it is their duties to either associate yourself with them on a political and personal level or not. Mistakenly associating yourself with one can be acceptable with a good explanation. Links to 2 shady characters should be caused for concern. 3 links though should throw red flags all over the radar. Either he knew what these people and organizations stood for and he chose to ignore them or he is to naive to see what they truly are. Both of these scenerios are unacceptable for a person who is a Senator, let alone a Senator who is wanting to be the next POTUS.

Just heard a clip of Obama saying that he knew what Ayers did, but since it happened when he was 8 he assumed that Ayers was rehabilitated. To me that is unacceptable. I mean he thought someone who commited terrosist attacks on Americans was rehabilitated. Wow. I guess their is a statute of limitations on commiting murder in Obamas eyes.
