There is no way to avoid looking like a nut IMO. The only way to not look like a nut, is to just give people small doses of truth at a time. With
1 stipulation - you must know where they are in their beliefs. And then you would have to lie and agree with something you know aren't exactly true
in order to keep with the person. I'd honestly rather look like a nut. Just not so much the raving part.
Aside from that you can't expect immediate responses. The people I have managed to wake up, it took over a year for it to start. All I did was
keep saying the truth in the discussions. I got called names and such back then. But the thing about telling people the truth, and something you can
rely on is - time will prove you right. I told people a year ago the market was gonna crash - you crazy nut they told me. And I would sit back
and smile and say - Time will prove me right. And ding ding, it did.
And people will notice that. That bit of truth will be in the back of their head. And everytime something happens - click, click, click. Don't
expect to get credit for it. Don't expect to be told thank you(I've had 1 person ever thank me). Don't expect any apologies. People will
have to think they figured it out on their own, which honestly isn't too far off. Because it's not about telling people the truth, it's about
getting them to understand. And that they do have to do for themselves.
Many people fall under peer pressure. When I would tell the truth years ago on other forums, nobody would dare post in my favor. But I would get
the occasional private message of - right on, I agree. They didn't want to post in public because they didn't want their friends to think bad of
them. Now as more of them have waken up to some degree, the pressure is no longer there and they post honestly.
But what is really getting it? Is it merely seeing the problem? Or is getting it not also seeing the proper solution?
