I think it would be nice to have a forum in which people can post their research or ideas on older conspiracy concepts from pre-history all the way up to the early 20th Century with the likes of the Rockefellers, Morgans, and Rothchilds. It could be fairly academic in nature and start to create a place for people to hear the origins of many of the current conspiracies we see today.

Anyways, let me know what you think.

Interesting, although I'm not sure I understand what topics could be covered in there that don't already fall under one of the existing forums?

The types of threads that would be in the forum would be researched to a certain extent and give people a definitive history of certain conspiracies. Most people posting now are dealing with current conspiracies only. I think it would be good to have a forum where we can try to document as many older or forgotten conspiracies as we can. So to answer your question, yes, most of the stuff could theoretically be posted on one of the other forums, but the kind of posts I'd like to see hardly ever make it there in light of discussing the current.

Ah, so like a 'Classic Conspiracies' sort of forum?

I think the problem with that kind of thing is that they have all been done to death. The ones that people are still interested in do get re-posted on the boards every so often. (JFK, Apollo landings etc)

I don't think such a forum would have much traffic to be honest. I think it would be better to keep the topics to their respective forums. Certainly worth thinking about though.

Perhaps you could write up an ATSNN article on the history of Conspiracies. Might make a good exclusive.

are we also talking about ancient conspiracies, such as the assasination of julius caesar, cleopatra's timeline to power, etc. or is this just basically conspiracies that involve somewhat recently known figures, such as lincoln?

I'd have to agree with Kano there; since conspiracy theories of older times have been done to a greater extent, one can simply find the vast majority of information regarding them on the internet, without the need for a forum.
