Suicide Bomber just a child

i also read somewere that it is against islam to kill a unarmed person... it looks like the terrorists are minipulating their own religion... thank you for correcting me also...

Last night they were talking to his family and the parents were very upset. Basically Mom thought he was at school until she saw him on the news.

What bothered me most, his 21 year old sister. She was talking to reporters outside the family home and stated she was so proud of him for trying to kill Israelies and stated that she wishes she too could put on a bomb belt and give her life.

The current generation is full of crazies but it looks like the next may be just as bad or worse.

I saw the same report, I think on BBC.

Try living under a military occupation for your whole entire life, under restricted movement, arbritrary curfews, and a powerful military that kills your people with attack helicopters and snipers.

If there was no Illegal Occupation, there would be no suicide bombers. Blame Israel for making this boy into a killer just as much as his fundamentalist keepers.

They KNEW what would happen if they killed the Hamas leader. They knew where he was and what his schedule was and they didn't use a sniper they used a MISSILE attack that killed and injured others.

That's murder. They murdered a man in cold blood who they perceived to be a threat. This boy was ready to do the same. He was willing to murder Jews because he felt they were to blame for his problems.

Guess what, they are. Whoa let me back up.... Actually, not them specifically, but their government and their government's policies. But try to get a child of 14 to differentiate that.

Israel shares the blame with the more militant aspects of Palestinian soceity in making this child into a suicide bomber.

Take away all of someone's hope, and they commit desperate acts.

While I tend to agree with some of what you said the above statement to me is very naive. He called for the destruction of Israel, he taught hate in the Mosque and he ordered bombers into Israel, remember he is seen as the father of the homicide bomber movement.

He was not a percieved threat, he was a real threat. By your logic he could order the assisnation of dozens of innocent civilians but when those who protect those civilians attack him it is wrong.

Look, many countries have lived under oppression, many people have been forced to follow the rules of a stronger nation. The debate over whether the Palestinians have a right to the land or not is valid. But as long as they use such cowardly attacks instead of diplomacy (remember they always turn down peace efforts) their cause is doomed.

They are in fact their own worse enemy.

Except that they haven't been living under these restrictions all their lives. These are recent developements as a result of the Intifada that started back in 2000. You know, the one Arafat started after he turned down soverignty for the Palestinian-Arab people?
