Hi from Frankfurt in Germany,

I´ve been watching the strange thing with the clouds over Greenland on google earth since yesterday.

Now it has changed a little bit, but it´s still there.

I asked in the google earth community, if anybody knows what this could be::::

Joe

Because different satellites cover different regions, check out this list

en.wikipedia.org...

See how many there are?

Check this video out. Info..."Update of google earth acting weird and displaying odd shapes when weather icon is activated in bottom left panel.Be sure to have latest Google earth."

uk.youtube.com...

I am with most of you guys who say it is just a glitch. Good timing though

that circle has always been on google earth at the south pole..
satellite imagery in the polar regions suck.. i dont even think they gather data from those areas.. or maybe they do and never show us..

but aside from that..
www.ssec.wisc.edu...

select fulldisk shortwave ir from the dropdown box
click the load page button

i donno if this imagery is realtime or not but it says it is.

now.. wtf is that big black shadow moving from right to left? someone pleaze tell me its the moons shadow or something..

i just stumbled upon this trying to see if i can find any other places where i could find the snowcome anamoly like on gooogle earth..

i almost pooped when i see it. but im sure there is a natural explanation right?

Hi, i just saw this on blossomgoodchilds website, go to the left panel under federation of light, channellings, bottom of page 6

Dare I ask, just feel I need to know for sure … …is that you that is being hidden on Google earth? Some are saying that is the table clue. If it is … that’s big!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did we not say a craft of HUGE size?

So is it you? I feel you are saying ‘yes’, but to be honest here… I’m questioning it, in case I’m wrong. I’ve been sitting here a few minutes thinking about this and now I am laughing. I feel you want me to put

YYYYEEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

So there you are … in for a penny, in for a pound. At this point in the process ... what have I got to lose? Oh guys … I feel so much better than when I began today. Lets ALL remember to keep everything we do /are full of that good old LOVE LIGHT AND LAUGHTER. Lets not focus on talk of anything other. I’m putting the kettle on guys … one lump or two? Many thanks

And in deep gratification to you dear lady. In LOVE. .

Hope its true

I've never used Google Earth, so I'm not familiar with its archiving feature. My question is: How far back can one go in its archives? Can anyone find the (apparent) anomaly in earlier GE images? If so, this is certainly the place to post it/them...

Recently there was a solar storm that hit several satellites and their functions around the globe. It could be this that you experienced.

Well, I dont know if you all have already seen this, I hadnt heard anything about it until you started this thread and I dug around a little, but this artists rendering of an event in Florida looks an awful lot like your google Earth image.

The same Blossom Goodchild is mentioned.

Edit to add, you have to scroll down a tad once you get to the linked site to see the image.

To address the external link: That is possible!! things we have never seen (never ever, ever seen ) will go by unnoticed. The Native Americans did not see Christoffer Columbus's Ships until they saw the crashing waves and ripples in the ocean. It toke an Native American Shaman 3 days to get a full image of the ships.

Don't forget that you are not really looking at the earth. You are looking at a computer model, so in the realm of possibilities, there are quite a few things that could cause the model to look like that, regardless of whether the Earth actually looks that way.

I suspect that a satellite has stopped working, and as a result there is a segment of time and space in their coverage that is missing. As to the clouds inside the empty area, I cannot fully explain, though I recommend posting some closeups to know whether they are really clouds or waves in the sea. It is not inconceivable to think that the google earth image data contains diferent layers that are composited, and one layer may have had clouds from a time when the sky was mostly clear, but that's all speculation on my part.

I do feel that to think this is caused by aliens is a little bit of a stretch, though, I guess anything is possible.

No the satellites either didnt cover that strip on their pass over or there was interference with the return signal

Funny how that on the Goes satellite it showed up fine on that date.

And i wish people would stop using the crappy google satellite and actually use something that is worth having a look at

www.goes.noaa.gov...

And anyone else find it interesting that people that have no idea about weather watch sateliites are making these incredible assumptions

do some research

It's not the first time I see someone say this, and I find it so unlikely that I think that it is just a stupid idea.

That would mean that when the first automobile was invented, for example, only the people that knew it could see it, right?

Do you have any real source for that information?

Google does not have a satellite (as far as I know), they use commercial satellite sources.

Ah ok, thanks for that.

Still though, there are many satellites up there designed for weather watch, from geo-stationary to polar orbiter. We use a geo stationary satellite for where i work for most of the time, and anomalies are not uncommon, but we never had one for the date in question.

I think you over read the part where i said ''(never ever, ever seen )'' or i did not explain it clear enough. You give a fine example With the first Automobile. We have had carriages for thousands of years i mean the first cars looked like a carriage with an engine on top. What i am trying to say is;
Can you think of something beyond your imagination??

OK, then, instead of automobiles think of telephones.

And can you provide any real source for that information? As it is it looks more like an urban legend.
