i cant believe whats goin on, people now seem to be ok with the fact that we cant walk 100 yards without being seen on a CCTV camera, were tracked to within a few yards through our mobile phones, even if they are turned off, were soon gonna have a card that when swiped will tell us the last time we had a ****, my friend was arguing with me sayin I.D. cards were a good thing they're gonna keep us safe, so i asked if the world got so scary that the government wanted to put cameras in our homes to keep an eye on us, keep us safe, make sure anyone living alone who'd had an accident didnt get left to die, answered me by saying "well if you aint got anything to hide, its a dangerous world were living in". i think im gonna give up, move to the top of a mountain an wath it all implode.

I think so as well.I have had similar thoughts about living in Alaska,just to escape it all until it does fall down.Here is a link to a thread I wrote a while ago,and why I believe that in the long run,this may not be all that bad.In the long run,anyway.Good post,way to vent.By the way,there was a post not too long ago where someone said that if you encounter someone who said they have nothing to hide,ask them if they would mind a cctv in their living room.That will at least plant a seed in their mind of how this is going too far,and there will be repercussions to this flawed logic of "I have nothing to hide,so it is fine to be spied on."

I'm afraid Big Brother is already here. Here, there are cameras at every intersection, every cell phone can be tracked and every other new car rolling off the lot has OnStar. What the cameras down here miss, satellites in orbit with resolution high enough to make out a dime catch. If my roof was made of glass, they could watch me take a ****.

Actually,you dont even need a glass roof.With current imaging technology,they can see you take(or leave)a poop and likely tell you what temprature it is!!

No, Big brother is happening and has been happening for a while now.

Why do you think that they are making new these smart technology phones nowadays so appealing to us? Because they want us all to buy new phones....new phones with tracking systems installed.

Wow, didn't know they can track your phone with it turned off, I think I'll leave it at home more often. Old carburetor cars are sounding really appealing now. And I've always liked the idea of going up in the mountains and living there, problems would be having your little necessities that you would feel at lost with, don't know why but hygiene is first to come to mind, ah stupid modern ethics.
