Stay strong America, don't be divided or conquered!

For once, it seems like, besides the few who are robbing us or assisting and benefiting, we pretty much ALL agree this plan that seems like it will be put through regardless, is not the way to go. We all see very clearly who will benefit.

How many members here live paycheck to paycheck, and have been unfortunate enough to miscalculate a debit every now and again? How many have marveled at the pure cruelty of the banks in clearing the largest amount first, so that they can add as many overdraft fees as possible to the account of an individual who is already obviously not doing great financially. They intentionally set it up, so they can charge hundreds of dollars for going over a few dollars. They PREY on folks who are struggling. If you call and beg, you may or may not get a one time "courtesy" reversal of a fee, but if you do it again see how concerned they are that they may have taken the last hundred dollars you have on earth, for food gas or whatever. See how interested they are in bailing you out when your family is about to sink. The ones who will take our last pennies, to add to their billions of dollars, are the ones who are begging US for money now!

When this bill passes, which it obviously will, one way or another, I urge EVERYBODY who can reasonably do so, to stop using their system as much as possible. Stop using credit, if you owe alot, file bankruptcy before the leaches get the law changed AGAIN. I could care less about my credit score, if they can be irresponsible without conesequence, so can we. Don't let them scare you with threats and world destruction because we don't let THEM take our money anymore. The ONLY thing that will change for sure, is that WE WILL TAKE OUR MONEY BACK.

They try and divide us using our diversity and difference in cultures against us. They divide us using "hot button" issues, none of which ANY of them give a rat's arse about. They PRETEND to share our values, they PRETEND to give us a choice....but SEE how they are all acting now? Like they don't HEAR ANY OF US. REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRAT, they are ignoring what we say and calling us STUPID.

STAY UNITED AGAINST THESE THIEVES!!

Dont know who you are or what you really stand for in the long run but your OP made me post here, and thankyou. Take care and dont buy into the fear mongering. I have a feeling things will be just fine.

Just an FYI on bankruptcy. I had over $30K in credit card debt and because of a change in circumstance could not keep up with it.

It cost me about $1200 and 15 minutes at a hearing. I got to keep my personal belongings and my car. I didnt own a home. The only thing I lost was the debt.

It doesn't even cost that much if you use a document prep company and file yourself. It's easy, even after the new laws for those who really need it and aren't trying to keep all kinds of money hidden.

Wonderful post. Thank you. We all need to either hang together or we will be hung by our purse strings separately. The thieving government is going way too far for even the extreme right I would think.

They could have used that money to bail out all the people in variable rate mortgages and give them a fixed rate they could afford and that would have shored up the economy just fine. Instead they are bailing out the big banks and will let the families end up on the street. What kind of uncaring monsters could do that

Thanks everybody for your responses. As we speak, they are cramming a now 800 BILLION dollar bill through, with "sweeteners" added for members of the house who voted against it, but NO sweeteners added that will make ANY difference to the average American, at the very LEAST, they could buy 400 billion in bad debts, and divide the rest amongst every tax paying American. Stimulate the economy from BOTH ends for the SAME cost. What's the math on that I wonder, probably enough to easily pay off ALL of our debts. That would free up some credit on the loaning end, and free up crippling debt on the consuming end. But that's not at ALL what they want, they want IT ALL!! No matter HOW much we voice our opposition, they are IGNORING US like annoyed parents speaking to each other over their children who are trying to get their attention. That's how they treat us, BOTH parties. It's disgusting.

Here's what George Washington had to say about parties before he left the Presidency....

"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism.
