Betcha she's one of those "Cool" moms that want to be pals with their kids.
Tend to forget that being a parent is supposed to mean helping their kids get prepared for the world, not being their best pals.
Not that you can't be both, bu being a "pal" shouldn't override your common sense or need to instruct your kids.

I completely agree!

I know plenty of such 'moms' who let their better judgement get in the way of their children's well being, JUST so that they can be considered friends instead of a disciplinary 'enemy'.

And in the long run, the kids seem to disrespect her since she has never demonstrated any authority in the home anyway.. so its actually counter-productive.

Pathetic.. its so sad that a boy passed because of this woman's lack of thought.

This woman is probably about 10 years older than her son...

Clearly she's still mentally a child herself.

Well she won't have to worry about parenting anymore.
