But were not talking about a short stretch of land. Practicality. I really do not think it is possible....unless some new methods of digging and pumping have been invented that I am un aware of...

also, it wouldn't just be oil being transported - other goods need to be moved from asia also.

I figure the same thats why I call Iran the Hat trick. China is the big producer of our western goods and if they can ship west through Iran unmolested and without paying any fees or dues (to anyone else other than us) then we all stand to make more profit.

it seems the count prosecutor in this case has gone walkabout. he didn't show up in court for this most important case.

maybe he's just a bit busy trying on a pair of concrete shoes.

Been following him since the beginning but as to this area I've got to play catchup....The only thing from the past that I can think of related to R and or this thread or GLP (just off the top of my head) was the incident just north 15 miles or so a few weeks ago in which This happened. I haven't had a chance to connect the dots but either R hinted at this or someone posted it in this thread as a link somehow

I mean Waleska GA and this Law Office bombing in Dalton which is very close as in 20 miles or so...Too many coincidences...

[edit on 20-11-2008 by Criskahta]

*Update*

Over on GLP the suggestion has been put out there that basically through the Shaw Ind and/or/is Westinghouse will be contracted for the massive China infrastructure project. Now given this potential clue combined with Waleska and the above mentioned Dalton bombing is that Shaw literally runs the town of Dalton. The town of Dalton is Shaw! Now keep in mind that Cherokee Co where Reinhardt college is as well the Highway 20 mall project and the Dalton law office bombing are in the same area. Now I need to put this together and dig some more but my guess is this is where R is pointing...

Below is a post from RATS at GLP

When China announces a 600 billion dollar infrastructure

project this is the kind of company you want to own:

The Shaw Group Inc. is a diverse engineering, technology, construction, fabrication, environmental and industrial services company. The Company provides its services to a diverse customer base that includes multi-national oil companies and industrial corporations, regulated utilities, independent and merchant power producers, government agencies and other equipment manufacturers. It delivers its services from over 150 locations, including 19 international locations.

The Company holds a 20% interest in Westinghouse Group (Westinghouse), which provides advanced nuclear plant designs and equipment, fuel and a range of other products and services to the owners and operators of nuclear power plants.

The Company’s business segments include Fossil & Nuclear, Environmental & Infrastructure (E&I), Energy & Chemicals (E&C), Maintenance, Fabrication & Manufacturing (F&M), and Investment in Westinghouse.

Hi all, been reading up on this for a while since I saw reinhardt in the google forums in October. I am trying to digest as much as possible...we'll see where it all leads...but to help in this matter:

I am from Dalton, live in Atl now. It took me about two seconds of not trying to figure out R~ was associated with Waleska, since I had friends that what to school there and all.

First the bombing in Dalton was absolutely an ornery country guy with issues regarding his son and property. He told a friend of mine to get out of htere before the bomb went off, the lawyer went to the church a grew up in..etc. very typical of Dalton crazy life...although we do call it the center of the universe.

Second the Shaw constructing in China is not the same Dalton Shaw industries. Bob Shaw was another good ol country boy who took advantage of the chenille market last century. They do control Dalton as do the other big players in the textile industry. Of particular interest, Shaw was sold to Buffet in the 90's.

Dalton is close to Waleska, but more than 20 miles. Dalton is also close to Chatanooga and Atlanta...hmm maybe there is something there? (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

On a last note, I am interested in getting a group together to shoot pool once a month "wink-wink, nod-nod, say no more" in the Atlanta area if anyone is interested...it would be nice to brainstorm without the limits of keys.

good luck all
~t

en.wikipedia.org...

The ship class was designed as a general purpose ASW frigate to follow on from the Krivak class frigates. This group of frigates incorporates some stealth technology. The program started in 1986 and seven ships were originally planned. As of 2007, only one ship, the Neustrashimy (Неустрашимый - Fearless), is in service with the Russian Navy's Baltic Fleet and is active.

,snip.

2008 deployment to Somalia

In late September 2008 the Neustrashimy left the Baltic Fleet and was sent to the waters off the Somali coast to fight piracy in the region,[1] and to intercept MV Faina, a Ukrainian ship bound for Kenya carrying 33 T-72 battle tanks and a hoard of ammunition, that was seized by pirates off the Horn of Africa. Russian navy spokesman Capt. Igor Dygalo told the Associated Press that the missile frigate Neustrashimy had left the Baltic Sea port of Baltiisk a day before the hijacking to cooperate with other unspecified countries in anti-piracy efforts.[2] As of 27 October, it has joined a flotilla of NATO warships near the Somali coast.[3] On November 11 it helped capture suspected pirates that had been attempting to board the MV Powerful. On November 16, 2008 it prevented pirates from capturing Saudi-Arabian ship MV Rabih.

Found an interesting paper on economics:
----------------------

Martin Armstrong, former chairman of Princeton Economics International Ltd., and now prisoner #12518-050 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan. Known for his analytical models of market timing, Armstrong’s cycles-based models have had some spectacular successes.

Armstrong called the high of the Nikkei in 1989 months ahead of time—the Nikkei peaked the last week of December as he said it would, then crashed, casting off 40 percent of its value in a matter of weeks. More recently, and again months ahead of time, Armstrong predicted the July 20, 1998, high in the U.S. equities market—to the day. After that morsel of prognostication according to James Smith, a former Princeton Economics employee, the CIA called Princeton, wanting to know how the Institute’s proprietary models worked. Needless to say, Armstrong rebuffed them. The court has since then been demanding that Armstrong hand over his proprietary computer code to them. According to Armstrong's daughter Victoria Armstrong, "It took nearly 30 years for my dad to develop this model and his refusing to turn over its source code to the government is a big reason why he has been held in jail for over 7 years without a trial."
On October 10th 2008 Armstrong released the following treatise on his research of time cycles that enabled him to make accurate predictions regarding various market events.

Any thoughts on 401k's and if they are used to buy the top of these wild market swings in order to take the wealth of the people and transfer it to the folks that get the rallies started?? Just wondering, seems to be a similar possible racket like other things r speaks about. I just can't see why the average investor would buy anything in this market unless you had insider info.

Two big down days, will we see a 880+ market rally tomorrow?????

Truth or dare? AIG ordered to bare all its secrets

Yowsa! Friday, a powerful Congressional committee demanded that American International Group cough up an exhaustive inventory of potentially mortifying documents, including:

* A list of all conferences, events or retreats paid for by AIG, its subsidiaries, or affiliates from Jan. 1, 2008 to the present;
* Documents showing how much each event cost, including lodging, transportation, food, drink and other charges;
* A list of any similar conferences, events or retreats planned for the next six months;
* And much, much more.

interesting take on the somali pirates from a local somalian...
World only cares about pirates

Ex-Somali Army Colonel Mohamed Nureh Abdulle lives in Harardhere - the town closest to where the hijacked Saudi oil tanker, Sirius Star is moored. He tells the BBC, via phone from his home, that the town's residents are more concerned about the apparent dumping of toxic waste than piracy

The super-tanker is close to our coast. It is a very, very long ship. Some time ago we had our own problems of piracy in our town but that has not happened lately.

The people who have been hijacking these ships in our seas are not from our region. We do not know any of the guys on the super-tanker and they haven't made any contact with us.

A few nights ago, some tanks came out from the high sea and they cracked it seems and now they are leaking into the water and into the air.

The first people fell ill yesterday afternoon. People are reporting mysterious illnesses; they are talking about it as though it were chicken pox - but it is not exactly like that either. Their skin is bad. They are sneezing, coughing and vomiting.

I have followed this thread and the site of (r's) and see something. He talked about (Health south) which is in one of his threads. The president elect choice for a cabnet member is a lobbyist for them. His name is Dashil or something like that. But I thought that to be important enough to post that info here.

The truth about pirate tales rest in the privateers.

Someone is sponsoring these pirates. Those are not desperate men doing what they must...

I have been wondering and wondering WHY hasn't some of the bigger nations wiped them off the map? The only reason I can find is that one of the bigger nations are bank rolling the pirates.

So who stands to gain the most from the pirates stealing things like nuclear material and supertankers?

First I consider who was harmed by these ships being stolen.

I am thinking either Israel or the US is responsible here for the pirate privateers. .

I find it interesting that now the terrorists want to fight the Somali's because they stole all that oil from Saudi Arabia.
Very interesting.
Perhaps the whole reason we weren't fighting them and have been tied up in Iraq is because they are not the real enemy.

as i was skinning over it at first i was particularly struck by the god cycle (being a fan of darren aranofsky's film 'pi') - sure makes you wonder doesn't it?
