The saying of "buy on the sound of cannons, sell on the sound of trumpets" suggests that the start of, or the continuance of, a war is a good time to invest in the stock market, while the end of a war is a good time to sell. The saying was coined in 1810, and is attributed to London financier Nathan Rothschild.

The idea behind this phrase is that during times of war there is a considerable amount of uncertainty and panic in the markets, which leads to selling. This selling pushes down the value of stocks leading to lower valuations and making it an attractive time to buy even if there is a war ("buy on the sound of cannons"). In contrast, when the war ends and uncertainty and the risks of war are removed from the market, people start to buy. This increase in buying causes stock prices to rise again - leading those just-purchased-at-low-prices stocks to higher valuations, making this an attractive time to sell ("sell on the sound of trumpets").

As Reinhardt suggested I literally Googled the phrase "buy on the sound of trumpets."

I believe he is trying to say that most conflicts historically, have been deliberately started by the elite (i.e. the Rothschild family) in order to enrich themselves. I believe this ties in to his overall theme that the markets and military conflicts are being manipulated by external forces, likely wealthy families on behalf of or with the tacit approval of the Vatican.

perhaps shermanium, as the OP, could approach ADVISOR about putting this into the research forum. still, i think if people were interested in helping there would have been more posters in this thread already. sad really, as this could turn out to be the biggest and most far-reaching conspiracy this site has ever seen and what it really ought to be investigating but i guess arriving ufos and pop stars are what draw the serious researchers nowadays.

R has been working on following the money for many years before 911 and has such a wealth of information that it's going to take a lot of people to wade through it all. still, as the saying goes... you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

something so huge and diabolical that's it's almost beyond comprehension has been discovered by R's many years of work. this is probably the BIG conspiracy you've all been looking for or fearing about and people better wise up and start taking note before they get away with it AGAIN and the cycle repeats itself AGAIN.

take some time to support this thread, please. star and flag it to get people's attention. learn how to become forewarned before it is too late to become forearmed.

Georgia (Iberia), likely.

As late as the 17th century, Silk Road trade still passed through Georgia and the capital Tbilisi was a major commercial centre.

Maybe this is too large and seemingly complicated for anyone wanting to volunteer and actually be responsbile for researching a single section of information. I'd love to be able to offer to do that but at the moment I'm really not sure that I'd find anything useful as one link leads me to another and then another and I have no idea if I'm on the right track or not.

I don't mind chipping in with anything I think I've found but I just don't want the responsibility for one particular section - this feels huge and I wouldn't want to screw up. That doesn't mean I'm not doing my own research though. Sorry and I hope that makes sense.

So far I'm on the Vatican thing being talked about at GLP and so far my list of to research is (in no particular order):- Pine cone, Ra, Pineal gland, Venus, Pope Joan, sphere within a sphere, thehiddenrecords.com, jordanmaxwell.com, Klamath Lake, cephasministry.com, cephas-library.com.

If I find anything useful from any of that stuff then I'll post it here.

One of the questions Reinhardt asked was who owns Klamath Lake - that may be obvious to any Americans here but I didn't have a clue who owned it. Therefore, if I'm barking up the wrong tree just skip this post.

Klamath Lake's owners are the Bureau of Reclamation who are under the direction of the Agency of US Dept of Interior. Robert W Johnson has been the commissioner of the Buerea of Reclamation since 2006.

BofR are the nations largest wholesale water supplier and 2nd largest producer of hydroelectricity in 17 states.

Their heyday was during the Depression and 35 years after WW2 when they used civilian public service labour to work on construction projects.

They operate 180 projects in western states and 31 million people are served by the BoR municipal plus 140,000 farmers. They supply water for agriculture, household, industrial water, etc to 1/3 of western US population. As of 2007 they had 58 power plants online. USBR.gov/facts.html

Could this be related to a health crisis? I have health crisis written in my notes and was just reading another, thread here on ATS, about missing Heroin and whether it's being stockpiled ready for a health crisis.

Also, quagga and zebra mussles were confirmed in 2007 and 2008 and they can cause significant damage to operations, maintenance, delivery of and storage of water. They can also cause substantial ecological and environmental impact.

I would assume that trying to controlling the mussels will cost a lot of money.

So what has Klamath Lake got to do with this, if anything? Is it pointing to a health crisis or that the Bureau of Reclamation will be needing a lot of money to deal with the mussel problem? Or is it pointing to both or are my finding completely irrelevant and the question about who owns Klamath Lake means something else entirely?

Reinhardt, if he had something useful to say would say it. He is leading you all on a wild goose chase.

The only time he was correct he gave a date and event. Now all he gives are poems and riddles. He threw something at the wall, it stuck and now he is milking it.

After following this for a while now and having read the images I can't help but think of Lippo Gate in all of this...Lippo Bank was an Indonesian Bank that more or less financed Clintons 2nd term...What R is describing sounds very similar in nature and I believe could be related to the missing records from 98 or so that he mentions above...

I'm probably way off on another tangent here but the Lippo scandal under Clinton from what I remember faded from the public eye rather curiously if I'm not mistaken...

but alas I'm still

Am I right in recalling R mentioning he wrote a book?

Could he be Mike Ruppert who wrote Crossing the Rubicon?

I was doing some more research about the missing heroin thread (here on ATS) and followed a link to chapter 3 of the book which is titled 'The CIA is Wall Street and Drug Money is King'

It talks of one of the biggest secrets being between drug money and Wall Street.

Edited to add the original source link I was researching.

OK - I'm still looking into the missing heroin (thread here on ATS) and came to this website about peak oil. I do think the missing heroin ties in with with R has to say about a possible health crisis. Especially when I read about just how bad things could get and how close we now are to the scenario.

"The relationship between the supply of oil and natural gas and the workings of the global financial system is arguably the key issue to dealing with Peak Oil as robost and smoothly functiong global capital markets must exist in order to power the transition process. In fact this relationship is far more important than alternative sources of energy, energy conservation, or the development of new energy technologies, all of which are discussed in detail on page two of this site. In short, the global financial system is entirely dependent on a constantly increasing supply of oil and natural gas." (bold emphasis is mine).

"Nearly all the work done in the world economy, all the manufacturing, construction, and transportation, is done with energy derived from fuel."

"Parts of the US are facing similarly dire possibilities. For example, US News and World Report recently published a six page article documenting the nightmarish scenarios soon to unfold across North America. According to the normally conservative publication, people in the northeastern US could soon be facing massive layoffs, rotating blackouts, permanent industrial shutdowns, and catastrophic breakdowns in public services as a result of shortages of heating oil and natural gas."

". . . the consequences would be unimaginable. Permanent fuel shortages would tip the world into a generations-long economic depression. Millions would lose their jobs as industry implodes. Farm tractors would be idled for lack of fuel, triggering massive famines. Energy wars would flare. And carless suburbanites would trudge to their nearest big box stores, not to buy Chinese made clothing transported cheaply across the globe, but to scavenge glass and copper wire from abandoned buildings."

". . . when the truth can no longer be obscured, the price will spike, the economy nosedive, and the underpinnings of our civilization will start tumbling like dominos. "The price of houses will collapse. Stock markets will crash. Within a short period, human wealth -- little more than a pile of paper at the best of times, even with the confidence about the future high among traders -- will shrivel." There will be emergency summits, diplomatic initiatives, urgent exploration efforts, but the turmoil will not subside. Thousands of companies will go bankrupt, and millions will be unemployed. "Once affluent cities with street cafés will have queues at soup kitchens and armies of beggars. The crime rate will soar. The earth has always been a dangerous place, but now it will become a tinderbox." (bold emphasis mine)

"By 2010, predicts Leggett, democracy will be on the run . . . economic hardship will bring out the worst in people. Fascists will rise, feeding on the anger of the newly poor and whipping up support. These new rulers will find the tools of repression -- emergency laws, prison camps, a relaxed attitude toward torture -- already in place, courtesy of the war on terror. And if that scenario isn't nightmarish enough, Leggett predicts that "Big Oversight Number One" -- climate change -- will be simultaneously making its presence felt "with a vengeance." On the heels of their rapid financial ruin, people "will now watch aghast as their food and water supplies dwindle in the face of a climate going awry." Prolonged droughts will spread, decimating harvests."

"For what it's worth, Bush's Crawford ranch has been completely off-the-grid since 2002. The ranch is equipped with the latest in energy saving and renewable power systems. It has been described as an "environmentalist's dream home." The fact a man as steeped in the petroleum industry as Bush would own such a home should tell you something."

There's also information about how everything is pretty much reliant on oil, including the internet and I know that a few days ago R pointed to the internet no longer being available.

How does Legatus/Catholic Church fit in with this?

A bit more on the Legatus/Catholic Church - Somewhere in all R's stuff I got pointed to researching the pine cone! The largest pine cone is at the Vatican and the Pope has a pine cone on his staff. The pine cone represents eternal life, rebirth/sun rise and set and is connected to old religions (Dionysus, Osiris, Tammuz, Bacchus, etc). Our pineal gland is said to resemble a tiny pine cone. I read somewhere (?) about how research is being done into the affects of fluoride causing calcification of the pineal gland.

The pineal gland is also known as Anja the 3rd eye and can be activated using meditation. Is fluoride dumming down our pineal gland/3rd eye? Is this at all relevant?

So now I'm left with Legatus/Catholic Church/pineal gland/fluoride (?), 9/11 (setup), Burea of Reclamation (water problems?), Heroin missing (severe pain for a lot of people on the way?), Peak Oil/Global Economy (doomsday!?).

Some, or even all, of the above may not be relevant. I'm sure there are some people here that can maybe sieve through and pull out any bits that are. Maybe someone can even start adding all of these things together so we can start to draw conclusions - from the above information we may need conclusions quickly so Mr R, if you happen to read this please let us know if any of the above is relevant. I have a feeling we don't have much time to work this out and I'm beginning to wish I could go back to ignorant bliss.

Excellent post

Your read sounds alarmist. but i'm not sure how else it can be said. I went and watched "Enron: The Smartest Guys In The Room" just to get some background and how it fits, so far everything i've read here is plausible. Enron was tied to natural gas, the grid - roll over blackouts, greed, corruption, Bush family, overseas economies, house of cards, stock market, tech bubble and 9/11 to name a few. my head hurts quite frankly.
Then we have McCain at the last debate bring up Colombia (coc aine producer) as a partner in trade, and Afghanistan (Heroin) becoming under USA control. yikes.

Wow, Maya. Thank you so much for your research. It is truly helpful to those of us that have trouble looking for the right paths to navigate down. Even if you aren't goign down the right paths, it is still enlightening to me to learn about new possibilities.

The pine cone research was awesome. It also looks like he has just posted more about servers crashing. Uh oh. Computers/internet down would be completely disastrous for almost all aspects of my life.
