In an interview with PressTv correspondent financial analyst, Max Keiser says that the US is broke, and the bail out plan is nothing more than printing fresh money.

...Keiser retorted that the US has gone through a capitalistic period, skipped socialism and gone right into state communism, and predicted that President Bush may declare a state of emergency to postpone the upcoming US presidential election.

Some more scare mongering from PressTV, but this rumor of the elections being cancelled has now turned up from another source.

Alarmist as it sounds, if this bail out plan falls through, it would well and truly be a national emergency for the US.

With McCain suspending campaigning until a deal is reached, and a bit over a month until the actual election, how long will it be before this mess is cleared up?

The president has all kinds of executive orders in place which enable him to declare martial law, and castrate the the congress and legislative branches of government.

The Federal Reserve saw to that.

I've never seen the source before so I can't comment on that. Nonetheless, I believe it's time for people to prepare themselves and I don't know anyone that is. It's not the end of the world by any means but the next few months are shaping up to be a massive struggle.
