Whether they say there are camera tricks or not...there are, and at least a plethora of his tricks are just that - tricks of perception and where he
knows your eyes will be.
I've seen most of his tricks done before, and the ones I haven't seen in person (real life) are certainly camera tricks with paid observers. One
such example is his levitation trick. It's almost common knowledge that he positions himself in such a way that you can't see him pick himself up
with the ball of either his left or right foot while keeping his heel attached to the one appearing to be levitated, but while on television he
levitates over a foot...obviously a camera trick as you are never shown anything above his waist while being shown his feat (lol...feet).
Look again, record and playback his tricks, and you'll catch some stuff that convinces you.
Yet as I've said...I've seen his tricks
before...mostly from convicts. No judgment intended here whatsoever - convicts have a lot of time on their hands to perfect certain banes of boredom,
and they ARE skilled.
Still...he certainly does have an amorphous amount of talent in slight of hand, and he should be praised for his magnitude of professionalism when it
comes to his trade wherever he learned it or whoever taught him.
Besides...he does what he's being taped for...entertainment value and highly adequate distraction of real events that change lives.
