Pakistan Truck Bomb -- WHO DID THIS?

a Truck Bomb does NOT leave a crater!

In the US television series Mythbusters they detonateda truck full of explosives.It was completely wiped out. It left no crater.



WHAT TYPE OF EXPLOSIVE leaves such a crater and IGNITES a wide area by extremely hot radiation? (alpha radiation? radioactivity is gone very quickly)

I wondered the same thing. I've never seen a truck bomb leave a crater like that.

I don't see a "crater" here...

I am not an expert but simple logic make me think its nearly impossible that a bomb in a car can make a crater like this


First watch the mythbuster cement truck explode, thats a huge powerfull explosion but no crater left... ( i wonder the result if they had dropped the truck from 2000 feet...crater ?)

the ground cannot be burried like that with a STATIONNARY SURFACE explosion, the power of the explosion should only be DEFLECTED upward by the ground not digging a hole in it.

i read somewhere that it possible to control the path of the explosion force ( detonate close to a wall etc...same physic apply here)

to create a hole like that with an explosion you have to :

detonate the bomb underground (land mine) or put some up to down velocity to "push" the explosion force downward / have some ground penetration (like bomb or missile dropped by plane or so..)

im not an expert in physics or bomb only common sensed.

As soon as isaw the first news reports something just didnt look right about it all, was it something to do with the Czech envoy that was killed or maybe more sinister.

That's definitely looks like a bomb dropped from a plane.
Even artillery or mortars wouldn't make that huge of a crater.
If they made a directional dependent improvised explosive device inside a truck they wouldn't design it to explode downward.
They would design it to explode towards the hotel.
However they may have messed that up.

They used JET FUEL !!!

since 911 jet fuel have many convenient and yet undiscovered useful usage !

Uh oh... Somebody missed.

I'd hate to jump to conclusions here, but if this supposed Marine truck was unloading steel boxes to the 4th and 5th floors, and people have claimed to have noticed "two explosions." Maybe the bomb was supposed to finish the job the internal explosives didn't, but missed. So, now we have 40 dead and non of them are parliament members that were packed in there for a meeting. Pakistani officials did OK retaliatory actions towards the U.S. a week ago after they turned our helicopters away. Maybe this was an "O Rly?" moment gone wrong.

"See! You need us! Terrorists just struck against your freedoms!"

I'm excited to hear what turns up in the investigation.

I agree with you that help the us government continue that joke called "war on terror"

but

Do you really think G.W. Bush is in charge of something, anything ? Bush is a docile puppet with average to low IQ elected by fraudulent manipulation of that "safe vote" machine (oups i pressed delete ... no matter the vote was for the others candidate)

.. like in Bali? First a very small bomb (detonated by real islamist extrememists (covertly helped along by CIA/Mossad/Mi6/ISI) and then a HUGE BOMB (from the air, hence the crater?)

also, please help to identify the MEASURING DEVICE. Is the long vertical cylinder a geiger counter to measure radio-activity?

I captured it from the CNN video, but saw on another TV channel how the instrument was carried around inside the crater...

George is for sure reading children books at a local school somewhere.

On a more serious note. We'll never know who's behind running the US realy. And I might be wrong that it was the US. But I had the urge to say that there is this possibility. Time will tell. But I am sure the first to come forward is some islamic group. Again, who paid them ?

As I said in the other thread, it does not make any sense for the marines to blow up that building. Think about it this way. Why send many marines to do a job? Why not just send one person to plant those explosives. Put the explosives in a suit-case and that is that. I honestly think it was a set-up to push the Pakistani government into hating the US. I think it worked out pretty well.

If the marines did this then they did a poor job. They should have been stealthy to avoid being detected by the enemy.

Certainly looks odd for a surface explosion. Boy, the "terrorists" are getting really good at blowing stuff up!

Maybe the near miss is simply a "warning" that Pakistan better follow the script or face the music. Kinda like the anthrax attacks on key senators and news outlets after 911.
