Aiken County deputy fired, arrested *Video*

www.wrdw.com

AIKEN, S.C. --- Jeffrey Nation is no longer a deputy with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office. He's charged with assault and battery and misconduct in office. News 12 has dash cam video of the whole incident.

On Sunday evening, Deputy Nation was in his cruiser when he noticed 18-year-old Lorenzo Williams, Jr. was wearing his baggy pants and wearing them too low in New Ellenton. By Sunday night, the officers conduct was under investigation and by Tuesday, he was arrested and fired.

It's not like I ever doubted why most blacks hate (or are intimidated) by the police, but this video reveals such a sinister level of disregard for human respect. It really is disgusting. Although, I am sure some here will speak on how it was provoked.

I hope the Aiken county Sheriff's department has to pay a RIDICULOUS sum of money to this guy. His rights were TRAMPELLED in this video!

Sure, I may not know what they were doing before hand or if that WAS a crack house they were walking out of. The fact remains, that cop was LOOKING for an altercation, and he created one. If we would hold ourselves and our government accountable for our actions, this stuff would disappear. Problem is, they get AWAY with this *snip*.

Edit to add that I am starring and flagging this thread. Good stuff.

I didn't think that they was able to arrest much less assault the would be criminal unless the officer was physically assaulted or so the local cops where i live stated anyway, from what I could tell the man did not physically touch the officer and i appears the officer was just itching to let off some sort of pent up steam on the young man.

That was messed up granted the guy might have been sagging but other then being visually offensive to some I would not think nor vote for something like that to be illegal my opinion on the matter is it just shows a slight disrespect for oneself but then again I don't know why you would do that anyway either ways its not violating the constitution.

I gata say if the officer got fired well he kinda had it coming...What happened to the other officer that was on the scene?

I began getting pissed when he ridiculed him for showing his underwear, when I never saw his underwear. This guy was the looking to flex his ego and it sickened me to see a human stoop to such a level. I hope he has to apologize publicly in addition to a severe punishment.

That is nothing. Much much worse happens, and not just to blacks either. Some of these guys have been allowed to grow into their own unsupervised lawless force. They answer to no one, and are so well organized that they can get away with murder, literally.

You may not even be a criminal, but if you cross them for reasons entirely out of your control, and you are a threat to reveal their group you will be killed.

The guy in question had his boxers showing until the cop got onto his loudspeaker and told him to pull up his shorts. He immediately pulled down his shirt to cover his boxers.

It is at the very beginning.

To the other mention of special unit police. Yes, I am aware that this happens. I'm just glad that ONE cop's wrongdoings were shown here. Make no mistake, I think our police force is totally out of control, and I would like to see it reigned in. I'm just happy for one dude being shown for what he is until the time that people wake up en masse and can see the whole system for what IT is.

Lotsa boxers on show in the first 5 secs.

Cop has alot of pent up frustration! Notice how he's pushing the black guy to be more civilized in his demeanours. I reckon if I had to deal with these pretend gangster loudmouth individuals on a daily basis, I might go nuts too!

C'est la vie.

"Pushing the guy to be more civilized" doesn't make much sense to me in this context. The cop was confrontational from the get-go. He deserved everything he got and probably much more, imo.

Why so? It makes complete sense.

The dude had his boxers hanging out, laughed at the cop, had an irreverent attitude from the beginning, shouted an inch away from his face. Basically a pretend gangster with his pretend gangster friends.

If you were a polite cop and had that on a daily basis, wouldn't it wear you down?

Some people will see the TWO Seconds of video of a perceived provocation where the youngster "looks him in the eye". Most people won't see the previous 3+ Minutes of tape where the Sheriff provokes the supposed perp. All because of some saggy jeans.

I will say though that the youth of our Country needs to elevate themselves in mind and education to elevate themselves so they never have to worry about this type of CORRUPT authority. Hopefully, this youth uses his good fortune if he wins some kind of judgement to good use.

True education is key.

Question.

Why are you constantly pointing out the cop's race in capital letters? A white cop arrests a black guy and we should automatically suspect racism?

Good lord. What is society coming to??

I just have to say this, and no offense to all the cops out there protecting us from criminals, but don't you have to be just a little off center to want to be a peace officer in these times? I mean maybe you like confrontation, and love to knock heads so to speak. Is that normal? Sadly, I think it might be "normal" in this day and age of cage fighting Roman mentality.

Really, I think most of it has to do with someone having to deal with vile thuggery and violence on a daily basis. This has to affect them mentally, and I feel for them. But the ones who have organized into nothing but the same thing as the criminals, make it very dangerous for all of the good cops actually doing their jobs.

If your a good cop and see a roque cop do something terrible, do the right thing and turn him in. Because that violence might come down on a decent cop with a family and kids. The good cop is truly your brother, and not the one who is an out of control killer.

Dude, seriously, the guy's rights were trampelled on.

The cop actually asks him, for Pete's sake: "Why is it that I'm working here? Is it because I'm white?"... Give me a break. This cop instigated this entire ordeal. It is why he has been fired. And good riddance, I say.

He had a cultural difference with these guys and he played the part of a rural racist very well. As far as the guy laughing at the cop goes, I probably would have laughed at him, too. I've done it. It happens when you know you haven't done anything wrong at all and the cop is searching you none the less, just because he is profiling you. It makes you feel discouraged and then you laugh because you realize that despite his best efforts, you aren't in any trouble.

And like the guy said, he IS going to get paid. I just hope that the amount is SO RIDICULOUS, that it wakes the PDs of the country up and crack down on these John Wayne type power hungry police.

Only trying to point out that Racism and Stereotypes still are a problem when it comes to the Police/Sheriff.

You may need to watch the video a couple more times to see that there is NO threat and the Cop seems to point out a previous altercation with another officer when the PERP mentions his name.

Are you so naive to not see that there are Cops who have an agenda??? Because it clearly shows in this video...........

The cop is frustrated, but I don't see any racism in that question particularly.

You mean artificial culture developed by hip hop groups? Culture that's sole purpose is to alienate themselves from the rest of society? There is no culture difference here... the black guy was anti-social and full of attitude.

Well that kind of explains alot.

Doesn't that just typify everything that is wrong with our PC society.

As far as I can see, he did not earn a rediculous amount of taxpayer money with his behaviors.

SteveR-

Looks like your were quick to respond to JayR's post but still haven't seen to respond to mine.

You have to admit that there is a bias in certain parts of the Country.

There are GOOD Cops and there are BAD Cops.

This cop is certainly BAD.
