Video Shot in Knoxville TN 8/11/08 Aprox. 8PM

I wasn't sure where else to put this. I have no reason to believe that this is a "spaceship". I think I caught a meteor(?) while filming from the Hilton Hotel in downtown Knoxville. Any ideas?

Wow.. that is a pretty good footage... it's kinda weird.. it comes down like a cloud, then burst into flames almost as it hits the deck. Seems like a meteor would have been burning at a much higher altitude. Where there any news reports or debris recovered? Thanks for the good footage.

if its real it looks like its being shot from somewere.

it looks rather tampered with the edges when looking close to it looks rather hard. and to defined to be real.

but then i may be wrong.

be nice if you cold vid the crash site.

looks like forgery to me. why stop filming then? sorta counter intuitive as to what one would do in that circumstance.

If that was a meteor, that would have made a pretty big impact crater, it would be all over the news. Just did a quick search of Knoxville being in the news, nothing out of the ordinary. That seems odd to me.

I live a few miles away from knoxville in blount county and if any thing like that happened i would have heard something about it

I dont know where the hilton is but what street were you on

It looks like a reflection in the window you are filming through of a lit up area of the room behind you that is blocked by your body at first. As you turn the camera your body moves from blocking the reflection and thus you get the video you see here.

Watching the video a few times you can actually see your head and shoulders reflection in the window with this light appearing from behind you.

Where is the extra footage..... why does it cut off there at the end. wouldnt you film more?

and why isnt there aany reaction made by the camera operator?
like holy crap..... or a camera jerk. i mean it just keeps spanning to the left and cuts off? whats with that?

theres the hilton he said he recorded it from.

the building on the right once the video starts is the walnut building accoding to google street view

also the building infront looks to be a library

if it was real i think it probably hit near W hill ave. and walnut street
also if you notice it doesnt look like it actualy hit anything

If you start the video where it currently ends... then... you might have something. Like people are saying, what in the hell made you chop it off?? Anyone, including my dog would have trained the camera on that agent orange fireball and... filmed and filmed!

Your footage is like that poster who saw a 9 foot bigfoot run into a field, make a campfire... do sit-ups.. push-ups... pull a copy of people magazine from his butt crack and read a story about himself. All that, and the only video footage on film is a 9 foot shadow

Please next time, give us something to hang our hats on....

Gotta say looks like it is just lens flare to me. Cuased by the sun (behind you) relfecting off something to your right.
