Barry Jennings dead almost a month?

Ive just heard from a friend in the U.S that Barry Jennings is dead. Can anyone confirm this? I havent seen it on any mainstream news yet but according to my friend hes been dead a month(for those who dont know who he is hes the eyewitness from W.T.C 7.
