Saw something just now..

Hello,
I think you should report this sighting, you Nephra T and anyone else who saw it. That thing is likely to move so it's got to be spotted by others, same region or elsewhere. Sometimes it's good to carry just your mobile-phone with you as any photo can be processed into some clearer pic that could give some clues, + when you travel by car/else it's always a good precaution anyway. But have no regret, the photo-quality would have been awful.
And don't worry as most camera-owners don't carry it round with them! These expensive devices are only out occasionally.

I think you should ask your Mother-in-Law to go to a police station to report it too, with you, so already you'd have 2 statements towards the witnessing. Then perhaps you'll get more info about other possible witnessing of the same thing.

I see above in the posts that someone else spotted similar but horizontal, so it gives one more element already, if the same object.

It's huge, from reading your descriptions. I'm glad your Son saw it too and is well aware it's no plane!

What was its appearance, could you give more details? Huge, cylindric, white, horizontal, you said, and, how else? Could you describe its surface? More like metal or other? What was the outside "texture" like?
Was it opaque or sort of transparent/ translucid?
Did it reflect light/ project any?

Did it seem to float away? Did it seem to be controled? Did it move or was it very stable? Did you go back a bit after/ day after?
How did it make you feel?
Did you feel watched? or sort of peaceful? Did you feel not safe, is it why you didn't park the car to look? Gosh you have a nerve cause many drivers would have had a crash through seeing that!!!

In 2003 in South France (Toulouse area) me & the kids were visiting my mum, on the night before our departure to back home I saw a gigantic triangle of "cloud/ steam/ fog"(? no idea what it was exactly) high up in the night-sky. Had to hurry up the day after so I left my written descriptions with my mum, suggesting she should report it. She didn't but UFO sightings were reported in mass soon after that, not too far away in the same region. THEN she believed me.
I wasn't on the net at the time and I don't live in France so, with also the traveling with my kids and all the commotion, I couldn't report it. But I bitterly regret it. I hope you do report it, fear nothing, what would put you off?

It was opaque and did not reflect or transmit any light that I could tell but it was high in the sky and off to the west a good distance away. After exchanging U2U's I do think that Jays wife saw the same thing as the object was in the direction that she saw hers in and because of the distance would appear lower in the sky from that vantage point.
I did not go back.. I was straight into cooking dinner after that and then well.. my days and nights are pretty busy. lol Not only that, but I have gotten used to seeing things so they don't really affect me the way they used to. I did feel watched a bit, but was not alarmed about it.. felt more comforted than anything. It was totally stationary as if anchored or parked there. Why didn't I park the car? lol if you knew that road you would understand it is cut into the side of a mountainy area so there is nowhere to pull over. By the time we got to an area that had shoulders again It was no longer in view. Have not gone back. Might go back today though, but I doubt it will be hanging about the same spot.. but who knows.
If I make a report it will only be to MUFON as I said before I have little faith or trust in reporting to OFFICIAL agencies govt or local. What would put me off? At this point in time they are unaware of how often I have sightings, that is the way I would like to keep it. If you have read what happened to another member here named Mike when he had a sighting that they found out about you would understand. I have children I don't need black helicopters flying over me 24/7.

Mmh, yeah, I kind of see now, about reporting! In most countries it would be more like, the police smiling at you and laughing behind your back, taking your statement and trying to verify your sanity at the same time...but no, I didn't read what happened to Mike, I don't think I came across this poster as I'm still very new here.
Indeed if it was going to cause you trouble and to your family, it's pretty wise keeping it this way. In the UK we have an anonymous line that transfers calls to the police, perhaps this exists too for you, but if there is going to be a Big Brother 'op' to monitor you after that, run!

I don't know what 'mufon' is, but if it is an organisation to seriously report UFOs, it's a good idea to go via them.

Beside if that State is so 'bril' at watching everything and everyone, surely they wouldn't have missed it,

Glad you're OK about it, and I hope that your Little One will be too, we never forget things like this.

lol he is 15 now and has aspirations of being a Jet pilot in the not so distant future so.. not so little anymore but yes, these are things that you do not forget.

MUFON is a organization that collects the data from UFO sightings and tries to investigate these occurances when they can.

I just had to write one more blog letter since it turned out we are all from about the same area in NWA and have UFOs in common. I respect each person by honoring their inner place that would judge who they talked about with the subject.

I saw that you had seen the large cylinder type UFO so I felt driven to share more of my sightings that belong here in text to confirm.

I was on 540 going South looking at the rush of evening drivers riding on other folks rear end. It was around 7 pm when I left Rogers to go home out in Madison County. As I was approaching slower traffic due to an exist being backed up and this was just as you come into the first exits for Springdale. I looked around to be alert about the traffic when I noticed a long rod shaped that was parallel with the highway with the closer end being tipped up a few degrees. I could make out that it was moving to the North at a fair speed so I was wordless seeing this sight. As I started to get into any more details I saw something approached from the south behind this rod. It soon appeared to make contact with thr rod causing it to go into pieces being spread out in the air. I was thinking this was going to hit the papers in Fayetteville with UFO wreckage scattered about and how the public was going to go nuts on this news even by word of mouth. I tell you that this rod and the intercepting object just dispersed right in front of me to my great surprise. I checked the news sources and there was no news about what I had seen and I just could not believe that.
It did happen and the craft was dark but not jet black for it was like dirt that would blend in with nature. Since being in Viet Nam in the Air Force I would say that the objects were above hwy 265 about at Joyce Blvd.

Look I have lived in the sticks in Madison County for many years since 1968 so I have seen many UFOs but now some are not for I did learn about some for it changed directions and powered down so we could communicate. It is one if not he coolest thing I have ever witnessed in very good detail since it was about 20 feet from my car. I learned a great deal that 5 am in the morning and I have since then been able to see them a lot in my books. Go fishing..sleep in truck bed...wake up about 5 am Sphere of Light right above my face above the tree tops. I am thinking that that is cool when my wife says "do you see that above us". I told her that I had been awake for about 5 mins. looking at the sphere. She had been with me on many sightings so she was not bothered about the incident. Actually she enjoyed most of the sightings while we together and we shared the Spheres with others that were our close friends in the Light.

I lived on the Pig Trail watching ufos for five years in one place. Another friend saw them come right in front of home while we watched TV. Is not that funny. I would like to help others to see the Light so I would give you directions to go seek out your own experiences that are knowledge your own to make choices.

To you folks around the NWA I am here to help others so if you have any questions I may be able to supply a good answer. There are a lot of spheres around Fayetteville so people should be seeing them for my senses tell me they are near.

What color are the spheres you see?

BTW light we have been discussing getting a group of us together to go sky watching in that area.. however the problem I have run into is that my hubby blows off this subject and is in extreme denial over what he has seen. He has been there 3 times for a sighting and he always just acts like its nothing later on. Not sure why, but getting him to be ok with me doing a sky watch with other UFO enthusiasts is not going to be easy. I just updated my blog with my second UFO sighting that happened in 1997 was in WI not AR though.. he was there for that sighting.. it was amazing and close up and still.. he is in denial.

Mmh, have you gone back since? I too doubt that the thing would still be there, unless they like the region for a good Earth holiday, as it looks pretty beautiful there...you're blessed!

but hell I remember being 15 -female- yet brave, and I would have been really freaked & thrilled at seeing this. I would be at my age now even! I remember how I panicked, a while after I'd seen the triangle sky thing over Toulouse. Checked all of my Mum's house...lol, shut all the windows despite the house was still very hot!

I was glad that my 3 young kids were asleep! I wanted to talk to anyone about it immediately but the whole house+ neighbourhood were asleep like dummies, though it was 1 am in August, and there was that heat wave that makes you have a siesta in the afternoon and stay up late to finally breathe some fresh air...

So it was opaque, you mentioned reporting to MUFON, and thank you for your info about it! so, have you reported it to them, did they get back in touch? Others saw it too?
I mean it'd be very easy not to see it, you'd just have to stay indoors! but depending on how long it stayed, I'd guess you three weren't the only ones to spot it. I think I'd try the press, just to see the comments+feedback.

The shape is curious. Bet you got dreams about it since? Don't be put off by surrounding ppl, twice & more I saw curious things that could well be from outer space, in the sky and even around on the terrain, but my partner would only try to prevent me from reporting, I think he fears they'd take me to an asylum, lol!!!

I'm thinking local press, with a title in the form of a question, eg, "Has anyone else seen this too?" with a sketch you 2 or 3 could draw.

Just a suggestion, but I read many of your posts and you give me the impression of being a person who can be totally trusted. Your posts are serious and you are sceptical very often, yet for example you encourage Amanda Reilly on her finding of an "Egyptian Statue On Mars?", which to me is a good sign of your integral personality.

Yes I was amazed that others had not contacted the news people about what I had seen. Later in time the space shuttle went down with it reminded me of what I had witnessed.

When I lived at Mulberry there was an occasion of UFOs being sighted around Alma which photos were published. In this article is what this retired Col. from the Air Force I think. I use this to answer about what color are the Spheres I have experienced thru the years.

Orange colored spheres are the most common seen by others but other colors may be seen on the same sphere but later in its maneuvers it could turn Indigo Blue with white light in the center. The element around the sphere is how the colors come to be in our Universe.

NephraTari the main color could be called a rainbow of colors just as in the known Universe. I was thinking about posting some photos I have of sightings that would help explain the mechanics and physics involved. I have all my engineering skills that allowed be to take in major issues.

Can a good soulful person be able to communicate with any of the spheres? Yes they can.

Important remember there are Good UFOs and Evil UFOs for I had to deal with some bad ones when I was eleven years old. It was scary being lifted up from the earth by a blue beam with sparkly dashes of light going pass me. As I looked up I could see the engine as these different rings moved pass each others changing colors as the classic UFO disk with sloped surfaces around its top. It flew at high speeds when it came off the ocean and as it returned to the ocean to vanish.

My first experience was when I was 6 years old living in a very remote location. This time I was flown around in a craft that could travel in space. Yes, for during that journey around our solar system I saw tat detailed rings of Saturn. I went so far is the tell my Mom the colors and the materials that would be floating in the rings. My Mom was happy when she told me about the news on TV for I had waited many years before pictures from Saturn close up. It was like having my own understanding about the big picture of this life.

Hope you may get something from my words that are true and done as a witness to the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Some time I will have to write about the UFOs that had Light as a color including the ones that lived in this craft. It was remarkable for a tornado happened near by so I had to cover up for it was just across the road from me. I thought it was my time and all I could think of is not Kansas but Arkansas and where is Toto? Live well for next level is heaven for us as I have been told.

I have not yet reported my sighting to MUFON but I am going to. I am also going to encourage the other members wife who saw it to make a report of her own as well. So to your question yes it was seen by someone else. We have been exchanging u2u's about this sighting and others and it seems we live in a very active area for UFO's.

That's good, I know how it feels when you have witnessed a sighting, we really think not twice but million times about what to do with these things!!

I promised myself, if I ever see another element that definitely can't be explained, even if I take a risk to get passed as a whatever and it was a 'car-balloon' ( but yours definitely WASN'T), I'll listen to nobody else, and I will face the laughters of these supra-intelligent cops, (but I get it for you, I'd want no stalking for 2 years around my house from the men in 'clever' uniforms!--or their 'copters') and I would perhaps (same reserve, though) alert the press. I will remember 'mufon' but I really don't know what they actually do with the info...1st feeling about the site, its name, it sounds like buffon in French, which is a sort of troll or jest...or 'muffin' in English...

Sounds like we have quite alot in common. Our philosophies are similar as well. I was spoon fed religion as a child as well and although now like you, I rely heavily on what I know to be true, I also concede that some good does come from religion.. it has its own balance like everything in the universe.

BTW you don't need anything other than a mic for your pc and a good program. Audacity is a good one for recording voice and mixing. And its free.

My son and I were discussing this again this morning and given the size of the vertical object in comparison with the plane we concluded it had to be huge and when I say huge I mean over 400 ft high. We are going to try to make some estimated calculations later today.

Well I need to record lectures for college so buying one that can do podcasts as well is a plus. I was not planning on doing any lectures on ATS but now that you mention it, that would be great. My friend and I always seem to converse very well and talk of achieving "accomplishment".
