I am skeptical because some times, something’s just don’t fit right. While I have seen things that I cannot explain, I don’t believe for a
second that every light in the sky is an alien space craft. Nor do I believe someone who tells me they have been in intimate contact with Greebzal
from Planet Tremulack for over twenty years, and routinely fly the mother ship through out the known galaxy, when they can’t manage to navigate the
inside of the local Wal-Mart store.
I have personally witnessed people becoming panic stricken while observing a well publicized satellite reentry. People running wild with speculation
as to the end of the world when again, a well publicized series of sonic booms hit the area when the space shuttle makes reentry along with a full
escort of jets at Mach2 (admittedly this one makes all the fish jump out of the water with each boom). I have seen a bubble of swamp gas causing a
distorting refraction of light from a star or perhaps Venus that was damn eerie and truly creepy. I have seen people mistake a flock of geese as a
space craft, bats as aliens and storks as Angels. I have seen the Marfa lights, etc.
I have listen to the stories of cattle mutilation that could of only come from alien technology, while secretly knowing that it was the nearby medical
students learning about a new procedure called Endoscopic surgery.
I remember hearing the story of an alien ship that had hovered by a farmhouse, it shot out a wide green energy beam to the ground and in that beam it
shot out a thin red laser that zigzagged to the ground, attempting to capture some livestock. When I went to investigate, I found that Ted and Mary
Miller on Route 12, had just set out their new Christmas decorations and lights (Christmas tree over the Nativity Scene, duh).
I have been fishing at Canyon Lake, Texas, a place where many people had reported UFOs around this time, when I heard the sounds of rushing wind and
when I looked up, I saw three Stealth Fighters in formation flying at low altitude before the existence of these craft were officially acknowledged.
I have seen what I can only describe as blimp, illuminated from the inside with a soft blue light at one end. It teetered, gently bobbing up and down
as if were a balloon seesaw toy while the shadows of men inside scurried around in a frantic manner. I could hear them shouting back and forth at
each other and then suddenly the thing disappeared. Not behind some trees, not up into the sky and it didn’t crash, it just faded out from
visibility and wasn’t there any more. To make this one even stranger, for the next three days, thousands of deer, I mean thousands of deer,
collected and remained in that exact spot. People would, could and did walk up to these deer and they didn’t run away, they just strayed about,
chewing on the grass. Must have been some really tasty grass.
These things make me a skeptical believer. I’ll listen to the story, but my mind will race and try to discern if there is a terrestrial explanation
before I just except an extra-terrestrial explanation.
