Is this the forum to discuss them? Just hoping someone, or anyone, would like to decipher some of mine. I wouldn't say they're prophecies, more just, well, either premonitions or just some v odd dreams. The ones I forget always turn out to be dejavu, however the vivid ones have just confused me. I can still remember vivid dreams from 10 years ago... just doesn't feel normal to me. Anyhoo, if a moderator here could kindly let me know if this is the correct place for me to express my dreams, please do, lol!

Thank you v much, and I'll hopefully be posting about them soon

ah fantastic! it's not been moved so i assume its was an a-okay start!

Right, one of these dreams, was a wee bit odd!

Basically, it seemed like I was on a ghost hunt with family and friends, and even some strangers, and it was an old stone house with a few floors. (I wont go into way too much detail but I can still walk through it in my mind!) and I was walking up a spiral stair case.

Anyways, apparently there were 'ghosts' in these rooms, and we went under one arch way, and to the right was like a stone stage where this 'shadow' was - i thought, "oh-there's a ghost....how interesting' (lol!) and then this guide we had gathered us together to tell us some history.

So, here's the interesting part. Two girls playing on the floor, not paying attention. about 6 years old, just writing their names in the dust on the floor. A few minutes later, one of them just starts shaking, and next minute it looks like she's being lifted to her feet by some invisible force. Next thing I know this deep horrible voice just comes from the pit of her belly and it's laughing in a mad like way.

That's the part where I ran! Haha!

But, the worst part was when the whole thing became more vivid. In my dream, I thought I had just woken up from this (when in fact I was still fast asleep!) I then saw my phone was going off on a witheld number. I answered it and it was this girl, (who was in fact posessed) saying "I'm coming for you..." then laughed in an uber scary way. Obviously I hang up, then I woke up properly!

I really have no idea what made me dream like that, if there is something going on in my head, or if it was yet another random dream...hmm.... just wondered what people think - anyone study psychology?!

creepy....

did you recognize the girls? or do you remember the names they were writing?
did the voice on the phone sound familiar?

Peace

I didn't recognise the girl, her hair was all in her face so I couldn't make it out. They seemed to just be drawing innocent pictures, stickmen. I think, although i don't quote myself, the 'possessed' girl may have been drawing some scary-ass face,

But I don't recognise the voice, I just thought it was the voice of the devil at the time, eep! it was too deep to actually be a human voice. Hm. Just odd how it even came about - I didn't see anything scary on tv that night, lol!

Haha, that last phone part is hilarious.

Well, first off it should be known that what goes on in your dream is created entirely by your consciousness.

In most cases it is the subconscious playing out memories, thoughts, emotions, .etc but when you become fully conscious in your dream you have full control (this is called lucid dreaming).

The point is, what you think about, you see.

When the girl called you, it is because you were so scared of her.

I've never had a nightmare that did not resolve since I have learned this.

Not all dreams can be explained like this though some can also be
prophetic... not saying your gonna be killed by a possessed 6 year old or anything but it could for tell like a major change in your life coming up or facing one of your fears... just cause the dream want agreeable doesn't mean the what it may foretell will be as well.

Peace

thanks
it's funny now i look back on it, however when i woke up it wasn't....ah, im just an oddball!

lucid dreaming, that seems to happen a lot to me. I just wonder what it is that triggers these dreams off, even though I've not seen anything remotely similar or thought anything similar in the leadup to it.

Heck. I've even dreamt I've been dead (twice) and the other when Chucky (Childsplay) has chased me round a mansion with a gun (although that one is the funniest - there's an Austin Powers moment in it!)

It just makes me curious is all, and I wonder if it's my brain telling me something in subliminal messages (that Chucky actually exists?! Hell no, lol!) or if in fact I am uber normal, just one who has screwed up dreams.

Justice:
ah i hope i'm not gonna get taken down by a possessed 6 year old...lets say it'd be hella interesting if I did, haha! I realise they're not always prophetic. Oh well!

Thanks you two
am considering a hypnotherapist though, that'd be quite cool - just for research purposes anyways - I take most things with a pinch of salt!

take care
xx

Hello,

I just wonder what it means when the same dreams are coming back to my nights after 3 or 8 years? I had some dreams when I was at school and they came back several years ago. NO same life experience happened so why then? Do you have the same experience?
(I dont dream often so it scares me a bit)

Thanx a lot

My interpretation of your dream, based on the information you gave, is you fear to trust your own intuition, the psychic side of yourself.

My advice is to learn to let go and listen to the still small voice within you. Be open to your gut feelings and hunches about things in your life. Don't be afraid to trust your own inner feelings and psychic impressions. For they can be very helpful and lead you to green pastures and still waters.

Live in love and peace and all will be well.

Oh I'll definitely be going through the Yellow Pages

Or I'm sure my Doctor at my local health centre can recommend someone, they're all for hypnotherapy as a medical aid these days, maybe they'll find me one who works on all areas!

No probs, I'll definitely keep you posted

Hello. Ive never posted on this site before. This is actually my first time here at this website. I saw that there were discussions about dreams and I was hoping maybe a few of you could give your take on the re occurring dreams Ive been having.
They are basically kind of uneventful except for the fact that I am hovering over people up by the ceiling. The people im *looking* at are older people. Probably in their 80s. Ive had 3 of these dreams now and it seems I have someone with me floating up there too although Ive never seen their face. I can just feel they are there.
Im not really sure what Im doing or supposed to be doing in these dreams. Im just floating up there looking in at these people. Ican see everything vividly, i.e. their faces, what they are wearing, what they are doing, the lighting in the room. Some of the people are sleeping, some are reading, some have been walking around.
Im thinking this is kind of strange as I keep having it over and over.
Any thoughts?
Thank you so much...
C

Emmy Buddy!

Nice to see posting!

Your dream is a trip...I have some weird ones myself, but not as symbolic as yours (opinion here).

I understand the ghost hunting part as I have discussed this with you (in small detail). The rest...I'll leave that to those that pursue this topic...

Watch out for Chucky girly-girl! Talk to ya soon.

hey cheeky bud!

You should U2U me some of yours. Just remembered another i thought i forgot about (this included walking 'lost' down a backtrack to come face to face with a row of upstanding coffins and some loud voice telling me to 'turn back now'!)

I think it might have been a cheese-induced dream...however was a while back haha! So might not have been!

As for chucky - i'm sleeping with one eye open

Tinfoild-hatter (or what the hell this means?)

My life is intuition in one! I recognize and know and see things before others do. They dont believe me but time shows I was right. I even said nothing about the dreams and you (bad copy of Freud) judge me from my psychic? Actually I know what the dreams mean and only wanted to know who will react.

This is a fresh change, I will share some personal opinions of my own dreams to you because sometimes a stranger is the best listener.

I have always had vivid dreams as a kid, I used to run high fevers out of the blue and still do to this very day and now im 33. I am quite certain that to this very day that I am able to return to a dream I was having, I know it sounds odd but I can do it and after I returned home from the Army on a medical discharge I suffered a head injury, I am almost fully recovered but my dreams are vivid even more vivid than usual. I swear I can smell and taste and feel in my dreams, There were times that I wanted to return to sleep just to feel that happiness I felt while I was dreaming, Now Im not a psycho or a manic depressive but my dreams do talk to me and I really think that there is something in my dreams that is not normal something out of the ordinary..Im afraid to get a referral to consult a neuro but like I said before, My dreams are amazing and its like Im living two lives..One awake and one while I sleep

I had a really strange dream about a purple balloon that was a UFO.. As it drifted down to earth, it deflated and as I moved close to it... it appears to be a condom. A spirit moved over me, and gave me a choice.. Cover your head, or cover your privates. It was the most bizarre dream I ever had.

Hi everyone. I have been lurking here for awhile. I thought I would add my 2 cents here.

I have a BA in psychology and experientially a triple PHD in the paranormal (ha ha)

I have a difficult time with the conventional view of dreams. I think certain people tap into different realities and maybe even a hi tech vitual reality holographic dimension.

I know with me there is just no way some of my exepreinces during the night are just coming from something I am thinking about on any level! I do have the everyday type dreams as well. I also have many lucid and all kinds of vivid wild "dreams"as well. I have been checked out medically and psychiatrically OK.

Usually if I am having a very scary "dream" like the OP I will "will "myself awake, then stay awake for a good 15 minutes and hopefully won't go back to whatever that was. I wouldn't waste any time and money on a hypnotherapist unless you are having major sleep issues. IMO.

When my dad got in a car accident several years ago, I dreamt about the same time that it happened, that the phone rang. I asnwered it and a very weird voice said this is a scam and then proceeded to say a bunch of very weird things. I didn't write this one down so I am forgetting alot of the specifics except in my case the weird phone call dream was related to my Dad's car accident. I guess my point is ,if anything ,that the dream realm can cover a lot of different aspect of consciousnessincluding other dimensions. I hope I not sounding too far out right off the bat.

Cmd188,
I don't have any head injuries that I know of but my dream world is quite active. I uderstand and expereince the level of realness in dreams that you do and the going back to your previous dream aspect. I aslo used to have hi fevers a a child. I don't know if these are connected because I have always had "interesting, vivd ,real sometimes prophetic dreams also.
