Former UFC Middleweight Champion EVen Tanner is dead at 37

This man was great. He was a very intelligent and insightful human being. He dealt with and beat his own personal demons to return to the octagon just a few months ago. He is inspiring and here is a great interview with him to give you an idea of what he was about.

He was found dead while camping in the desert. I am pretty sure he ran out of water. He was a minimalist. He texted and called several friend for help but by the time they found him it was too late.

I would urge all of you to watch the 19 minute video even if you are not a fan of MMA. It is a great interview and gives you a great feeling of inspiration.

Tanner was great. He beat guys like Heath Herring, Phil Baroni and Minowa in his prime. I was sorry to hear he died when I saw it monday night. I'm glad he didnt kill himself though as he had many demons and quite a bit of bad luck this past year

Tanner had a lot of heart and was a great fighter and hit hard ,I felt terible when I heard of his death ,rest in peice Evan you will be greatly missed in the UFC and as a good man
