Few species...many many variants of craft

New here. Nice to meet you all!

One thing that has always bugged me concerning the UFO phenomenon in general (I'm a half-skeptic, or sorta Doubting Thomas you could say), is that primarily we're dealing with 3 species, the Grays (with their variations included) the reptilians and the Nordics. Why do three species need so many variant's of craft? Most photos/reports of UFO's show a RADICALLY different style of craft in each. I would have supposed a slight variation on each ship as we slightly vary on our own planes, but to that degree?

Any possible theories?

I would just take a look at how many forms of transport OUR species has.

Do we have just ONE type of helicopter, or car, or plane, or boat?

exactly what i was going to say. In my driveway alone i have 3 completely different types of cars.

another thing . . . who said there are only three species? I've heard that according to project Blue Book there are MANY more . . .

Note, I did say we have VARIANTS. Our cars are different, but remain the basic car, where as many reported spacecraft as spoken of come in innumerable shapes- saucer, triangle, hexagon, boomerang etc. I'd of though the primary races reported (I know there have been other races reported though less than the Grays etc) would have, and I know it sounds silly, but chosen the best possible design and used it to it's full potential. I do accept the theory that many races may use many different types of design, but from what I've read, the Grays have been connected to saucers, triangles, 'bulbs' etc.

I cannot help but chuckle at the responses to your post. As I look out at my own driveway, I can just imagine a used spaceship dealer, promoting the latest model of spaceship design on subspace TV station KBBQ7! Fifty quarks down and only five quarks a bleem with approved financing.

But you do pose a good question. On earth, we use how many different types of space craft. Basically we've been using the one type for the last several decades and while Russia has their own shuttle craft, it looks very much the same as ours in overall appearance and function.

I could only guess that radically different designs were created for different purposes.

Those craft that were designed for use in water may appear different from those designed for atmosphere only, while craft designed for interstellar travel may appear completely different altogether.

Then again, how many different governments would these aliens truly represent? It is possible to conceive that a single alien species may come from completely different governments and represent different ideologies, countries or even planets, and thus different designs.

each species has it's own crafts then on top of that they have different crafts for different roles...

there are many beings out there..not just a few species.

Just out of interest, do the ' blue midgets' described by Streiber and portrayed in the Walken film belong to any particular race?

Off topic slightly I know, but I've not read much of them (nor found much concerning them online) outside of Communion. Are they common?

sorry i have no links, skippers got me beat there,

there was a press conference in which retired military,government officials etc, state there are about 56 different races here now. of course the number could be larger.

I would guess that many of the aliens would still use older craft, too. The military still uses B-52s and plans on using them for at least 20 more years. Given all the aliens that are likely to visit us and the many types of ships, there are probably hundreds of different types of ships, many powered by different kinds of engines.
