I understand that the price of fuel is totally rediculous, but is ethenol really the answer?

Ethenol is made from food biproducts like corn cobs and orange peels, but I see a very fine line between food biproducts and food.

Do we really have the audacity to force the price of food to inflate so much?
So that we can maybe save some money on fuel costs.

What would the savings be anyhow?

No, and I don't think anyone thinks that ethanol is the answer.

Well, the way we evil Americans look at it, there are people dying all the time from our voracious appetite for natural resources and consumer goods. If a few hundred more people in Third World countries have to die of starvation every day so we can take our kids to soccer practice in our huge SUVs, we're willing to pay that price.

Life sucks and is randomly brutal. It could have gone either way. Are we supposed to feel bad because we happened to win the lucky birth lottery and be born in America (or have the gumption to move here), rather than starving in some dusty, poverty stricken military dictatorship? We should be dancing for joy more than we already are!

This is also the main danger to the Amazon rainforest right now. Small farmers are being blamed for placing our planet in jeopardy. The rainforest is the lungs of the planet, and essential to our existence. But the reality is that its a new safegard product against the shortage of oil
Its really too bad that we aren't allowed on the moon, according to disclosures, because a large solar plant on the moon could power the earth even if the "new technology" doesn't show up, and wave technology would be nice too. Very close to getting electric cars up to highway speed. Thats the jewel in the crown as far as I'm concerned!

Please. Where you're born isn't random. There is nothing intrinsic about your existence. You are an overgrown spinal cord attached to a few hundred pounds of flesh, the result of a random sexual encounter, or perhaps as consummation to your parents' marriage. Your ego grows as your brain develops and you begin to believe that you could have been born anywhere else, with any other name. But you weren't and you can't. What can you do as a living being? Make educated, conscientious decisions to help your fellow man, no matter where he was born and where he happens to live at the moment.
