Actually, the bad side is that once/if this were to gain momentum and grows beyond the ability of the MSM to ignore, the FBI/local police/(et.al.) will send people to 'pose' as like-minded supporters; then at the right moment, they WILL instigate exactly the kind of behavior that will justify the reaction they will come prepared for.

If the group is well disciplined and briefed, and no one joins the agents provocateurs, then they themselves will engage in a mini 'false flag' within the event to ENSURE that a clash or something occurs, which the MSM will seize upon and propagate to perpetuate the meme that anyone who protests the government regarding the Fed/IRS and other such policies protecting and enforcing the wealth vacuum into the private coffers of the transnational elite qualify as 'terrorists' or 'criminals' or 'kooks'.

We need a national strike. But the that is made impossible by - the media's direct manipulation of information, the organizations that are pretending NOT to be under the influence of the elite, and of course, the fear mongering we are exposed to everyday.

By the way, what your doing here sounds dangerously close to 'organizing.' Civil disobedience; I would appreciate it if you found another platform as ATS is a delicately balanced forum intended for the exchange of opinions and information. isnt that why maybe we should stock up on weapons and such? i know "they" have more powerful weapons but we can use our minds and come up with a make shift catapult or somethin. too bad other countries hate us and wont come to help us .

Don't get me wrong. I am all for civil disobedience. I am just not going to pretend it will lead to a 'Hollywood' style result. There will be no crescendo of music as the proud perpetrators walk away. It will be more like a bunch of people arrested and harassed, as well as marked for the remainder of their lives by the apparent fascist FBI/DHS mafia.

The real 'hope' for us is that the information regarding the true History of the United States of America fro the last 100 years be divulged to us. If the truth were known, the game would be up.

The scenario you present is very very likely, but I would suggest a round table approach like Project Camelot has where every person involved signs stating that they would never do such a thing and if any thing does happen it is a deliberate false flag done by the PTB. They should sign it and pledge their awareness of the tactics that could be used.
