I actually have the answer, but I don't want to post it -- at least now.

I'm repeating the cipher, because there is a small mistake in it (but once you've got the key, it's easy to know it's simply a typing mistake, not a flaw in your deciphering method):

Ie,uI,Ue,Au,,oE,Oo,,eI,Eo,aI,Au,,iU,Aa,iO,,
uA,Aa,oO,Uu,,uO,Iu,,eA,Au,eE,Eo,oI,,
Ae,aU,Ou,,iE,Aa,iO,Ao,,uO,Iu,,uA,Io,oA.

It's Iu and not Io as originally posted.

"VW" is at 1200 points now. Spooky, it's up to you if you want to post the answer or not. No clue for today. Cheers everyone and thank you for playing.

Great job Ian Mclean! Thanks for checking in. 1200 points will find you soon. I hope you'll keep an eye on this thread. I'll try to get a new cipher up on Monday, but will have to see how busy work is. LOL. Thanks for playing.

PS; I've added you to my friends list Ian. I hope you'll consider doing the same. Cheers!

No clue to start you with on this one. As of now "DCT" is worth 500 points and counting. Good luck to everybody! Cheers and be well!

Wow. So that one lasted an hour. LOL. The comment at the bottom of Ians post "Caesar Cipher" is exactly right. That is the key. For a better explaination....

The alphabet shift is always to the right. Shift of one for the first letter, shift of two for the second letter, 3 for the third, etc. The three lines of the cipher each started from shift of one again with the first letter.

I'll see that 500 points finds you soon, Ian. I'll try to get a new one on here as soon as I can but I've got to inventory my entire warehouse today so likely tomorrow. Cheers all.

Hi everyone. I hope you're all well and excited to dig into a new cipher. I have invited Ian Mclean to post a cipher on this thread. I've seen a preview of it and I think you'll really like it. It's not like any that I've shown you so far, so it should be interesting to see how it goes.

As soon as Ian posts his code, it is worth 500 points. All the same rules apply. Good luck to all. And thanks to Ian for offering a new angle on ciphers that we haven't yet explored on this thread. Cheers all!

In about 15 minutes, Ian Mcleans "Digital Eclipse" moves to 600 points.

Anyone getting anywhere with this? I've tried a few ideas I had on it and have achieved nothing so far. lol.

Hi Americandingbat. Good to see you. Thanks for checking this thread out and thank you very much for the flag.

I've never tried to solve a code that looked anything like this one does. I'm really enjoying coming up with new ideas about it and trying them out. No luck yet though. I'm looking for patterns every way I can think to. Good luck to you and thanks again for checking us out. Be well!

I am glad everyone is enjoying the puzzle. This is the first one I've made for ATS, so I don't really have a gauge as to how easy or difficult it is.

I will leave everyone to keep searching, and perhaps stop by with occasional hints, if necessary.

I have a feeling "hints" will be necessary. At least for me anyways. LOL. Cheers, Ian.

Yep, this is intriguing... I've tried a few things already but it seems that no idea can be good... I have the feeling though that it must use simple math, but just what math?

In 20 minutes or so, Ian McLean's "Digital Eclipse" moves to 700 points. I really like this one because so far, I've got nothing. lol. Nothing at all. That's why it will be so sweet when I crack it! Good luck to all!

Hint for "Digital Eclipse": The puzzle itself does not contain all the information necessary for the solution.
