I'm currently working on compressing the latest round of videos to the same (or better) standards as the first round. While this takes longer than simply uploading to YouTube, we want to ensure these are the highest quality streaming videos you've ever seen... so as to eliminate (as much as possible) debates over pixillation and compression artifacts.

Also, something about this second batch is requiring much more time from the compression software... some videos just compress faster... and these are taking a while.

The compressing and converting process continues. We want to be sure that everyone will enjoy the quality of these videos and of the audio, so the SkepticOverlord is making extra sure that it's "just right" for everyone.

Hell.. I'm even on pins and needles and can't wait to see the new set get posted.

here's another photo from the Gilliland Ranch. This time it's of our COO and CFO Springer and Crakeur.

Hello Johnny,

In your image of Springer and Crakeur above, a very good view of the mountain is in the background. I've been looking at topographic maps of the area, identifying trails, the reservation boundary and other geographic features. Could you tell me roughly, what direction the camera is pointed in this image? I want to pinpoint on the topographic map where the light on the mountain was located, assuming it was physically "on" the mountain. Is the camera pointed due north would you say, or slightly west of north? Thanks in advance.

I would say that this shot is directly due North looking at the Mount Adams...
Keep in mind that we are 13.5 miles away as the crow flies..

At the auto-store yesterday, I saw a 13.5 Million candlepower light on the shelves. I believe it was a 12v model you could use off your car battery or via carry-batteries. Here are 15 and 25 Mcp lights that are portable.

So, just wanted to put that out there. I know Springer pointed to his services history and thought that the LotH (Light on the Hill) being more powerful than anything he'd seen. If that's a hiking trail up there, could be someone with one of those.

Excellent point.

We decided (and stated) that since we saw people hiking up the mountain the next day it pretty much nullified the lights on the mountain except for their erratic movement, which could have been nothing more than two or three different people turning their lights on and off from different spots on the mountain.

Springer...

Hrmm, I don't know if I agree that the fact that people like to hike on the mountain means that nothing paranormal or extraterrestrial can happen on it....

From looking at the lights on the mountain via the footage,I agree some could be from hikers, but I doubt if a hiker could move at the amazing speed some of these lights are moving at..especially as the footing underneath in the dark would be pretty dangerous going..what do you think

Ah, the legend of the 100mph hiker :-)

I haven't seen the video yet, but a light on that mountain should not move if a hiker. It would take someone hours to move a "smidgen" on the mountain unless they were on a nice trail and have a 500cc dirt bike. Someone setting up camp would definitely not move in relation to the mountain.

Gotta see if I can find videos in this thread.

Not if it were more than one group coordinating their actions with some form of communication.

This is why research must be done
