this is the most ridiculous argument...

the argument is not that organic food is bad for one's health... it is that 'organic food' (i.e. not actually organic food) is bad for one's health...

organic food is natural and healthy, and boosts the immune system.

in many cases 'organic food' isn't actually organic... so, yes non-organic food that's grown with pesticides is bad for your health... and (actual) organic food is good for your health.

...

What a bunch of BS and propaganda!

Maybe they posted that article because growing organic food in china is becoming more and more difficult as the population increases.

And btw cancer in the US has NOT declined it sprang through the roof over the past 20 years.

Maybe the poison that you eat with the food helps keep bacteria away but it also destroys your own body. It bloody poison at the end of the day!

This must be a joke...China of all nations is going to declare what is toxic in people's foods now? Who exactly are they trying to kid? Organic food, according to U.S. standards is simply food that you can grow in your own back yard without the use of pesticides. And somehow this is supposed to be deadly?

China:Organic food declared deadly

--.com

A working team at Nanjing University in China has published preliminary findings based on a three year study of the safety of organically grown vegetables and organically raised livestock.
(visit the link for the full news article)

thats a terrible 'report'..aimed solely at improving gene modified crops public acceptance as well as improving the acceptance of these chemicals....chemical companies dont want people eating organic food...and maybe even the governments dont as its harder to grow..needs more care..space...and of course theres the loss of revenue.

to find out what a body of research and the resulting report really means all you have to do is find out who paid for it..i have personal experience of this and it is shocking.

First I thought yeah man thats the question.
I realized fairly quickly; could not define organic medicine, So i asked Goggle
I said hey goggle define organic medicine.
goggle said

No definitions were found for organic medicine.

Suggestions:

- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Search the Web for documents that contain "organic medicine"

perhaph you meant organic is better than medicine.
or
vis vis..

or perhaps non-medicinic is better than organic..
yeah i like that one..

all this melarky to avoid a two line post..

peace

I wondered why I could not find my post in this thread. Then I realized that this is the exact same topic of a thread that the Op posted also on the 8th, but two hours earlier.

In addition to spamming the board with false propaganda, it is the same propaganda.

Come on OP, Deny Ignorance.

EDIT TO ADD..... In addition, what connection do you have to the website that a majority of your threads link to?

I have to agree with DocM that this seems like it could be disinformation. Could this be yet another showing like the multiple Chinese posters who magically stopped contributing after the Olympics?

Back to the topic at hand, I propose a simple test. Go to your local Fresh Market or Whole Foods and pick up an organic carrot. Likewise go to your local chain supermarket and purchase a carrot not denoted as organic. Wash both carrots thoroughly and then eat them raw, I think the results will speak for themselves.

I'm not a chemist so I don't know how healthy organics are compared with chemically treated produce, but I do think the organics have vastly superior taste.

I tend to disagree with that statement. Many Pharmaceuticals are copies of organic compounds. In addition, 'organic' medicines like Chinese Herbal medicine have been healing mankind for thousands of years.

What you presented was a fallacy of logic. Perhaps you do not understand what 'Organic' means when it comes to food products. I think you are confusing the nomenclature.

Either way, it seems as though your intent here at ATS is to present links steering traffic to a specific site that lifts its stories without attribution or reputable sources.
Perhaps you are trying to support your own website, or perhaps you have more nefarious intents. But something is not 'right' with the information you have been contributing.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you come across as a 'forum bully'-perhaps a bully in general-quick to write off anyone with a different viewpoint to yours and then question their motives for even posting-what are your motives Doc???

Certain posters will always try to wreck forums for everyone else and dominate them as if they make the rules-thats all.

Of course a study out of China would push this propaganda. There is no way they can provide truly organic food with all of the pollution created there and surely no way to feed the billion people with just whole foods.

Which obviously does not explain why they are feeding quite a bit more than a billion people with '(whole?) food'. Maybe you would like another attempt to make your point now having been aware that China is feeding the vast majority of it's citizens on home grown foods?
