I have just received the same call ( in Adelaide, where the water is known to be foul) They wanted to enter me into a "free" draw to "win" a tap filter as long as I answerd their survey and agreed to buy my first filter for $99.00 from them.
I declined entry into the draw. Suspect this is not a conspiracy, but a way for this company to sell $99.00 worth of their product.
