Any idea what exactly this is? Came across it while surfing reddit earlier and it looks kinda strange...Almost looks like a treetop to me..

I think this is another view of an image we discussed a couple of days ago. (although it was a different view).. I think the they said it was either a large or or clump of rocks. I dunno for sure, but since they really haven't seen anything *but* rock on mars....

yeah, that was a picture identified as a cairn. It's tagged as Ancient Ruins Discovered on Mars. It's pretty interesting to, but the detractors had apoint, there are many similar looking stones closer to the camera in other photos, that make it more likely it's a odd shaped bit of stone, andless likely to be a tree or a cairn.

NOOOOOO NOOOOO NOOOOOOO
not again not again........please not again. I actually believe there are some interesting anomalous things on mars, but everytime we do this, it comes down to the EXACT SAME THING:
one side says it's a rock
one side says it's a building
one side says the picture is to crappy to tell
please let's not do that again, it's not condusive to a truth seeking agenda, and it damages the overall morale of those on both sides until they are not even takling about the issue at hand, they are reduced to venting their spleens and exercising the drudgery of online debate.
UGHHHH
focus on image tampering, it's the only thing we can "prove", it's the way to begin.

Seeing that there are rocks in the OP's picture that look like the object in question (such as the rock on the left), I'd say it was a rock.

That whole area is strewn about with those "craggy" rocks, such as in this picture, wgich was taken on the same Sol (Sol 728) and in the same area. as the OP's picture:
