In one of the fiercest battles in recent times, it has been reported that US forces have killed up to 220 Taliban fighters this week. Most of the fighting seems to have been confined to the Helmand province of Southern Afghanistan.

60 Minuets did a spot Sunday on a hilltop fort that came under
attack and they called out for an air strike.

The Taliban are coming from all over Afghanistan.
They are regular villagers by day, and Islamic warriors by night.
When the military pulls into there village they take off the Taliban hat and say "Im just a poor villager I don't like the Taliban".
