A tare in the sky..

I came across this article today from someone in Florida who reports that on the 26 August there was a giant wedge shaped tare in the sky, where clouds etc. were abruptly cut off and a 'darker blue sky' appearing where the clouds should be..

"It was almost as if all of the clouds had been sucked down into some sort of massive funnel leaving a huge cone of empty, dark blue sky. It wasn’t moving in any way, just there, across most of the eastern sky. And it didn’t really seem round like a funnel or cone, but more like a flat 2D wedge. But there were absolutely no clouds, no haze, or no vapor of any kind in it."

He has posted images showing a 'depiction' of what he saw and is asking for others to come forward if they witnessed it also.. oregonskywatch.com...

I might be quick to dismiss this but a few things are striking out at me.. firstly is the reports we had just a few weeks ago of strange phenomena in the skies over Britain, and secondly is the location... Florida; Bermuda Triangle territory.. an anyone with any interest in this area know of strange reports of the sky changing in bizarre ways.. what makes this different is that this time, it was seen over land and over a vastly populated area.

I have seen similar things in the sky like this as well. It never really occurred to me to ask what it was. Of course it wasn't a perfect triangle/cone like the picture depicted. It is interesting hopefully there will be some explanation behind this.
