A recent cut by the Pats: John Lynch.

I can't believe they cut Guttierez and kept Cassel.

LOL...

saw one person from my high school... so random.

At least the Packers made one smart move this off-season by cutting Vernand Morency. That guy has done nothing but collect a paycheck since being traded for.

Not that we gave up a whole lot...

Thanks Black_Fox, I've been looking all over for a list of cuts. Couldn't seem to find one for some reason.

I couldnt believe Cincinnati cut Rudy Johnson like that.

Why didnt they trade him? He was one of the top ten RB's in the NFL two years ago, they could have gotten at least a 3rd round pick for him. I believe I read somewhere that he has already signed elsewhere.

The Bungles have to be one of the worst managed franchises in pro sports.

3rd round? HA! I wouldn't give a 3rd rounder for Rudy Johnson.

At best, I'd give a 6.

He signed with the Lions...

...speaking of poorly managed franchises.

6th round? You have got to be joking. He put up well over 1,000 the previous three seasons and had multiple touchdowns. He was the top back in the AFC central. The only reason his stats fell in 07 was due to being out with an injury.

As soon as Chris Perry gets injured again the Bengals will be wishing they had R.J. back. The least they could have done was get something for him. You dont cut a pro bowl player and not get a thing in return.

And I agree, the Lions are just as crappy.

He played in 11 games last year and averaged 45 yards a game. His yards total, yards per game and yards per carry have been declining over the last three years. And he's 29. Running backs don't go far in to their 30's before they're done.

Chris Perry is only slightly younger, and Kenny Watson is slightly older, but both have shown more signs of consistency than Rudi Johnson has. Why would teams give up a draft pick for someone who appeared to be on their way out to begin with? Why not just wait for the Bengals to cut him?

I'm sure the Bengals tried to get something for him, but clearly NFL teams weren't biting.

I like Chris Perry, I think he will do a good job.

If Im not mistaken, didn't Cincinatti darft Kenny Irons from Auburn last year as well? He was an awesome back in college but I think he may have been injured last season.

The Lions will end Rudi Johnsons career, they have no offensive line to speak of. He will be sharing the load with the rookie RB they drafted.

HERE is the only running back that anyone will need to watch this season...ALL DAY!!! I am hoping he will give L.T. a run for the rushing title this year. Considering we still have no QB, Im certain he will get plenty of carries.
