This is just a thread to stop smokers from feeling "guilty" about their [bad]choice of slow suicide. Non-smokers by the way, don't have to worry about being addicted to this nasty tar-cancer-causing-agent(cigarettes). Smokers, do what you want, but don't let me breathe in that nasty second-hand smoky air of yours.

I hope you people complaining about tobacco smokers are completely straight edge... "Your smoke bothers me" Well guess what your retarded comments while drunk at bars bothers me. Your car with its unfriendly exhaust bothers me, every time you do anything that involves interaction with me bothers me... Seriously be adult about it dont be non smoking elitists. Sure smokers have probably made a poor decision by inhaling nicotine via smoke but everything these days will give you cancer.

The way things are going you best worry about some real problems like global warming, wars, and the Volcano at yellowstone going up like a powder keg. Smoke em if ya got em! Cause you're born in the wrong generation if you wanna live a long and fruitful life.

I agree completely yes it is stupid to smoke, I have for 15 years and cant/wont stop but seriously look at all the pollution in the air these days just walking down the street you must inhale all kinds of nasty stuff!
Also what happened to freedom of choice people judge smokers like we purposefully want to die young No we dont but if we want to smoke let us dont treat us like lepers because we do something you dont like.
if smoking was so bad for you then it would be illegal (you know like crack) that may sound naive but think about it for a second.
I assume that most people who view this site dont take most things at face value and quite possibly believe the governments of your/our respective countries routinely lie to us so why take their word for it about smoking?
Not that i dont think its bad addictive things are seldom good for you but come on if people gave non smokers a hard time for anything they did differently how would you feel? A bit persecuted maybe?

You should just wear an oxygen mask then. Because the air you are breathing in right now is also polluted from car's and factories.
Second hand smoke can be annoying.
Here's an idea.... Move away from it!!!!

I find it illogical that some non-smokers (I dont smoke, but I used to and chose to quit) will pass judgement on those that do and then turn around and order their bigmac's (dripping in saturated fats) and diet cokes (loaded up with aspartame) then rush home to wash off that cigarette smoke smell in your flouride filled bathtubs.

Life is full of dangerous choices, to each their own.

I work in cardiovascular surgery, and trust me, smoking causes cancer. That pesky cancer doesn't always stay in one place, it can go to other places in your body. Personally, I don't care if people smoke. If you are an adult, you know the risks, and it's your life. Everyone has their own addiction, and mine is Tex-Mex food loaded with fat. YUM! Pass the fajitas! I just don't want to smell cigarette smoke because, to me, it really stinks. If you cigarette smokers could start smoking pipes, I could tolerate that odor!
