Discovery channel crew, film a bizzare ufo "yesterday 26/08/08".

He says(well we are told its him) that he thought that after further analisis and discusion that they are balloons.He also says that the film crew from discovery did not get clear footage.That means that this analisis must have been done on the video he took with the sony handy cam,the same video that he was so confident was a ufo he posted the vid on you tube with his audio clearly stateting that he thought it was not balloons.Correct me if i am wrong but what more could he have gleaned from that video that we could not see.Strings? picture of mickey mouse on a balloon?. I am sorry but he pulled that video with out giving any reason untill questioned (we are led to believe) and does not go into even the most basic detail why he has done this about turn.Very strange indeed. And I am not calling anyone a liar its just seems very strange to me.I would not be suprised to find out it was some kind of hoax to try to fool the discovery team.Or it is real and he got telling off for leaking the footage before the discovery team could hype it up and have the exclusive with their pro footage. please forgive me if I am way off and have caused any offence.

The whole thing seems a bit strange. Those do not look like balloons at all. Look at the way all the arms are the same length and move the same way. Did anyone mention in any of the posts about the serpent ufos? Looks kind of similar.

Does anyone know who the discovery channel camera men were or which bureau they were from?
I'm sorry but until I see the discovery footage with their $100,000 broadcast quality camera on a tripod then I'm still undecided on this.
The sony handycam footage is shaky and blurred.
Has anyone contacted the discovery channel yet?

So even more people will get to see this thing as he has a large audience.Seems like this one is not going to go away yet.

he has added annotations near the start 22 sec in, they read"The discovery channel crew pointed out the morphing object.It maybe balloons or a prank to confuse everyone.Gil Robles was honest to describe what he was watching to Jammie(MAUSSAN ?)". Luckymauro knows Jammie maussan so Im guessing it must be correct that Jammie maussan was with him on that roof when they saw the object. Has anyone got any more news on this sighting,because i have not received any answer from Gil Robles. It seem strange that he has not come forward to explain what happened between him believing it not to be a balloon to now believing it to be just a bunch of balloons.Also were is the pro footage? and will it get released. was this all just a hoax to fool the discovery team?

I am leaning more for the possibility of someone who knew about the interview releasing some balloons with something in mind.

What was the idea behind it I don't know, it may have been to try to fool the Discovery Channel team or to make Arturo Robbles look like a fool in front of the TV team.

We will probably never see the Discovery Channel footage.

That would be a shame either way. Why would they want to make a fool out of him ? Has he got a bad reputation for giving credibility to hoaxes?

I don't know, I don't know him, but it would be a good way of making him look bad, create a hoax in front of a TV crew to see his reaction and later show that it was just a bunch of balloons and he was uncapable of seeing it.

His credibility would be affected, but I don't know who can get something with that.

That is the reason I always tell people not to consider two sightings the same thing without having real evidence of it.

In this case you said this sighting looked like yours, I said that it does not look the same.

When the video was (apparently) debunked by its creator, the fact that you "linked" your video with this one may have made your video look less "appealing" and your own situation may look different.

In fact, to me, your video and your sighting are precisely as they were before, it's a strange video of something that I cannot identify, so keep on looking (and don't be to quick in your conclusions ).

I have been hoping that someone else would capture the strange object that I had ,or at least one like it.This object in mexico to me looked of the same type as mine.Unfortunatly mine does first appear to be a balloon.and its only because I watched it through my binoculars for some time as well as trying to film it through the eye piece that I know it was not a balloon. In fact i have found another report with a picture of a object that looks even closer to what I saw through my binoculars www.burnleyexpress.net... . I think what I saw was real so I am expecting more people to report this type of object.

Why didn't the Discovery crew use a professional camera mounted on a tripod instead of using a handheld one?

I think this is because they were not there filming a ufo ,they were there to interview Arturo Robbles Gilles.

It has just been pulled from Luckymauros' account also. I am now loading my version that I filmed directly from the monitor, so should be harder to pull down.

I have now loaded the vid i took from my monitor of the discovery ufo?( all vids of this video have now been pulled,so this is the only copy online for now).I hope it will soon have the high quality setting. www.youtube.com...

Great to see you keeping a sense of humour. I watched your own video. Interesting but it was a great shame it was so unsteady and of such low quality. I have read many of your posts comparing the Discovery footage to your own. In light of the statement saying that the footage from the discovery team was of a bunch of ballons you may have to consider that your UFO may be identifiable now as balloons also.
Instead of just passing it off as balloons i thought it would only befair to you to show you why i feel your footage is possibly balloons too. Have you heard of the foil variety called Magic Arch. Imagine a few of these, in the air and moving around. Something for you to consider. Magic Arch Balloon Image. Multi Coloured Images These balloons are commonly used outside. They last for days and the appearance dose not deteriorate like latex balloons.

Imagine two or three of these in the air, with the possibility that they may be multi-coloured and reflecting colour and sunlight, viewed through a shaky Video cam held up to a binocular.
Considering how unsteady your footage through binoculars is, this is a possible explanation.

Further to your question,the discovery team did use their pro camera on a tripod(see video www.youtube.com...) Thats the pro footage that I and many others would like to see.The video on yt was shot by Arturo Robbles on his sony handycam.
