Extra Chromosomes are usually a result of abnormalities in cellular mitosis. The occurrence of extra chromosome duplication/deletion is fairly similar across all chromosome pairs and almost always results in miscarriage or stillborn infants. We only really see the effects of advanced stages of chromosome abnormalities in the Sex Chromosomes because these are rarely immediately fatal.

In regards to the differing levels of chromosome pairs across species, here's a good article which explains the basics better than I could:

Changes in Chromosome number during Evolution

I asked my sister about this as she used to work on the human genome project and she just laughed and said it looked like something she'd find on the onion.

I think I'll take her word for it that this is bogus.

Yes i agree that they call it 'junk' because they dont know what it is. Nature wouldn't make that big a boob. I read some time ago that every part of our bodies including our skeleton comletely renews itself several times through our lives so none of us are any part of the same body we had years ago. In theory they said that there was no reason why we should ever die if our bodies continued to do this. Maybe the reason is that in the 'junk' part of our DNA the part which controls this renewal has been altered to allow us only to live the shorter lifespan which we were granted instead of the thousands of years which the Annunaki (our makers according to the Sumerian tablets) lived. They meant to dumb us down. Would doubt that we would be smartened up again.

Aren't there some diseases that are caused by an abnormal number of chromosomes, I think downs syndrome is one of them, I think that shows the amount of chromosomes doesn't mean an evolutionary path can't be followed.

Exactly. In humans there are several different combinations, and you mentioned one yourself.

Our aging comes from free-radicals damaging DNA which inturn stops the proteins that are produced by the DNA from working correctly, antioxidants can help slow the process down. Saying that, the redundant DNA may help slow the process by taking some of the flack from the free radicals.

woahh this reminds me of another forum a while ago where somone analysed a crop circle and did all this mathamatic stuff and then came to this picture and the picture lookd like a dna chain. cant all be coincidence

hman dna has dormant alien dna waiting to be activated

Wrong we use 100% of our brain. we may not ever use all 100% at one time but we use all of our brain at one time or nother. www.snopes.com... I know snopes is not the greatest source but I feel lazy and I should not have to do your research.

Yes this is true.

But there are some regions of the brain that we are not 100% atuned too also.

Ever reached for the phone, just before it rings?

Ever had a dream, that a while later actually happens "just as you saw it in the dream"?

Ever known what your Partner is about to say or finished a sentence for her/him?

Ever been able to stop yourself bleeding by regulating your heartbeat?

The list goes on...

Most of these things we can do, but only by accident or we are not concience that we are doing it at the time. There are parts of the brain that control these functions "but yes we do use those parts of the brain", just not to their full potential or with any form of control.

If you can't see HAARP being used worldwide, or the fema camps waiting, or the awakening happening everywhere, i suggest you clean your bifocals. Regarding our DNA activating by 2012, i feel this is true. They keep us in constant fear so it keeps us at a dense vibrational state so that that emotion barely hits any coding sites at all, while on the other hand love hits a lot more. I've always felt i was going to see some incredible things happen in my lifetime, and the closer i get to 2012, i feel it getting closer =]

Come on. It's unlikely if we did evolve entirely terrestrially, that aliens would even have the same chemical make up. It's almost impossible that aliens would have an entirely independently evolved genetic system compatible with ours - the mind boggles!

Regardless, if there WAS such a project it would have been found already. Gene finding technology (e.g. scanning an unknown sequence of DNA) is very advanced, and the genes that are "extraterrestrial" will already have been found. Given that there are analogues of human genes in other terrestrial species, its unlikely this is correct.

Sorry!

"Ever reached for the phone, just before it rings?"
Everyone has. Statistically this should happen many times in your life, given the total number of rings in your life, and the total number of calls received. It WILL seem amazing when it happens, but remember, miracles (p=0.00000001) happen on average once per month to everyone, completely within the realms of statistical chance.

"Ever had a dream, that a while later actually happens "just as you saw it in the dream"?"
Sure. The latest research shows we dream ~400 nightmares/dreams per night, and those are in preparation for what we think may happen. That's a pretty high chance if you ask me.

"Ever known what your Partner is about to say or finished a sentence for her/him?"
We are pattern recognition machines! Spend enough time with anyone and you will be able to do this, especially if you have good spatial iq.

Ever been able to stop yourself bleeding by regulating your heartbeat?
Nope, sounds like a cool trick - I am sure this is possible without any supernatural reasons, especially amongst hemophelliacs.

Your wrong. do you see anything else that is clearly as advanced as us, Besides Ets that have humanoid body shapes? We humans are bipedal and on top of that we use tools, communicate with one another, develope object to make us even more lazy, we are the farthest here on this planet unless there are Ets here.

I loved NightVision's comment way back on page one about mindbullets!!! haha Tenacious D rocks.

Also someone made the claim on page 1 that "humanoid extraterrestrials don't exist." That is a very bold claim. I'm just saying though...

On topic, give me a break. How about we finish the genome project before we start making claims that ET has influenced our genetics. I mean, I am MORE than open to the idea, but it is the same with the hyperdimensional ET theory. Lets work on OUR reality before we start explaining things away to something that is even MORE confusing.

I am a firm believer in the idea that there is much more going on on earth, in our solar system and the universe as well as beyond that very few can comprehend. I believe aliens exist in plentitude some of which have been manipulating our DNA and impacting our evolution for some unknown reason. I see more and more evidence that our religions are at least in part based on visitations from whom we believe to be our creators. I'm thinking we owe our very existance to them at this point. They would have the technology to wipe us all out in a heartbeat if they wanted to. I don't believe that creatures who's intellect is millions of years ahead of ours in development would resort to the pure animalistic barbarianism that many feel is a threat to humankind. Why would they want to kill their own creations? I think the fear people have toward the unknown is the real issue here. People fear what they do not understand. When you take your dog to the vet for shots you are looking after their best interests and taking care of them in ways they can not comprehend. All they know is the fear of the experience. I equate our dealings with these aliens in this manor. I'm tired of these hillbillie postings from people who can't even formulate a complete sentance let alone have all the answers to the mysteries that surround our existance. I believe it discredits sites like this to have these very primatic answers and ideas that have little basis in the real scientific world.

I keep seeing this synchronicity popping up as well. Contactee Alex Collier says that we have the DNA of 22 different species of Beings, who have at one time or another manipulated our DNA and infused their own within ours. Maybe "junk" DNA is not "junk" at all?

The "junk" DNA is the alien DNA. Most of the humans DNA is locked, so the "junk" DNA is useless.

When the "junk" DNA will be activated (not by some Supreme Being on a Laser Warp Drive Beam, etc.) but by humans themselves, that's when the party begins.

Let me add a bit to this:
certain *cultural segments* of society which exhibit low IQ are doing two things which affect the dynamics of our entire society:

1) They are having baby's at a faster rate
2) The ones who do reflect the upper segments of these cultures tend to gravitate toward government jobs: mostly as healthcare assistants or teaching.

Did I say teaching?

I was speaking with a friend about this, not specifically this but relevant none the less, today.

We were initiall discussing the global finance issues, currency and bank concerns which lead to a mutual expression of concern over the current world events which are, to say the least, highly irregular and worrying.

Anyway, we talked through a number of possible theories, points and references from "mainstream thinking" and of course "conspiracy thinking", anyway we were on the subject of Pharmaceutical Monopolies and Medical policies, when my friend (who has recently become a dad) expressed an "uneasiness" ragrding innoculations.

When his son was born he was immediately whisked into a side room from the delivery room, and my friend followed to see what was going on, what they were doing was giving the kids a series of injections (innoculations given at birth) and he really wasnt impressed at seeing his new bord son being stuck with a bunch of needles.

Anyway, the basic idea is that you never actually know what all these injections and so forth really are, what they do, what effects they have, you are basically trusting the the doctrine of these huge medical monopolies who dictate policy on what gets injected and when.

So I suppose in a way it relates to this theory because any of us at any point in life could have been injected with any number of "hidden" things via means of innoculations and injections we are told we apparently need.

Must admit the idea of sticking the kid 30 seconds after hes born with a series of needles horrifies me. Apparently its very normal, at least over here, ive never seen it before and to be fair I can understand why he was shocked by it seeing it for the first time on his newborn son.

The state of Texas has mandated Hepatitis B for all new borns. The U.S is vaccine crazy and I think they can be linked to many illnesses and disabilities.

What would you think of a species that killed it's own unborn in utero because of a monkey protien in the babies blood? Wouldn't that unborn be an alien species to the mother?
