Well, like I've said before individual trip planning is fine, but I'm not into coerced or forced trip making. Liberty yes, slavery no...

Having said that, when is the ship leaving '___'eed?

There is actually an online petition already that asks for intervention from a benevolent ET race, if anyone's interested.

Something tells me they also have no plans of intervening. Why you ask? Because things have been far worse in the past...

Number of casualties in WWI = 21 Million

Number of casualties in WWII = 72 Million (6 Million gassed)

If you want intervention, there was no greater urgency for intervention than those two tragic moments in our recent history. I don't think our slow economic growth of today or the few hundred thousand that have died thus far in Bush's war on terror, warrant any sort of in intervention, don't you think?

Thank you guys for your attention to my petition, I didn't expect to get so many replies, frankly speaking.

Some of you have expressed concerns that the advanced beings i'm addressing might be malevolent (neocon-aliens) or may even enslave us. I don't think it is possible. Since their technology allows them to travel here across the stars/dimensions and watch over us undetected, they must be very advanced, and that's why they don't need slaves, they probably have robots instead or something similar. And they probably don't need our natural resources either since they can just replicate them (replication technology is theoretically possible even in our primitive science).
The worst scenario I think that they will treat us like a large zoo keeping locked in the planetary cage, but that's not worse than the current situation when we cannot leave this planet anyway. And even this won't happen IMHO because humans are sentient, and the aliens will be afraid of a rebellion or something. So, they'll just civilize us slowly, under a much better political and social system.

'Gateway' pointed out that the aliens may not want to intervene now, as they watched over WWI and WWII silently. But there were no nukes at this time, that's the big difference.
I don't think we all realize how dangerous the situation is right now. I received phone calls from some people yesterday who report that the Black Sea is swarming with warships from both sides (NATO and Russia) and they seem to be on full alert. There is a huge military buildup in Georgia again, the situation with Iran and Pakistan: you can see it from the news.
I'll say it again: we are running out of time now, and my duty is to warn people and to ask for help from any possible source.
If there is indeed a 'treaty' preventing their intervention, bad for us, those who signed this treaty are no less responsible than those who push the button.

Thanks, 'NuclearPaul' for the link to the petition but I think it's too vague for the present situation. I'd summarize my proposal with these words:

We are all hostages in the hands of mad men, political maniacs, who are getting ready to kill us, please help us NOW!

I just hope someone is listening...

Veles, I understand and do appreciate that you would like some form of intervention by benevolent beings to help us, and I do understand that these are not the best of times.

The problem is that intervention stifles maturity and growth. Just like a parent might bite his/her lip and grown at the thought of their child making terrible mistakes, but allowing nonetheless and giving space for the child to make those mistakes. Those mistakes are necessary for growth and maturity. It is through mistakes that people learn. So too, would interference by being on our earth would not be helpful toward humanity's spiritual growth.

If you really believe in benevolent beings then it is more likely than not that these creatures will not intervene in our affairs. To be advanced spiritually and technology like these being it takes a lot of generations and time. It cannot be said that these beings never faced turbulent times, throughout their evolution. They came out and have better perspective because of it and probably more spiritually aware because they were allowed to make these mistakes, so too we must be allowed to fall and get back up on our own two feet. Without interference, although I see that you have genuine good intentions, wishing for so, is counterproductive to our own spiritual evolution and enlightenment.

I agree with the basic precept of the petition. And to those who say that the human race could (or should) be left to solve it's own problems, the OP does specify an alternative of evacuating those humans who wish to leave. I would find that satisfactory. And leave behind those who want to stay to "solve their own problems", because I/we know perfectly well that the sector of the human race that wants to be left on earth 's status quo are the ones who aren't going to solve their own problems, ever, because those are the humans who are the source of the problems.

So yes, dear celestial friends, please organize an airlift (skylift?) for the many saddened refugees from this tragic species. If you happen to read the internet I'll be waiting, just like every night.

Perhaps you are right, and when the bloodthirsty maniacs start killing people by millions, let's sit in a shelter and contemplate how 'mature' and 'grown' the survivors of nuclear holocaust will be (if any), awaiting for our time to be butchered.

Perhaps no one is watching, and all these numerous reports about ETs were hoaxes/disinfo/misinterpretations, or the watchers are such bastards that they are no better than our homegrown rulers. Perhaps they are morally incompatible with the humanity and deserve to be feared, hated and abhorred.

I would like to advance Tesla on a few people, but I can't.

Mostly lies about him any way and his secrets locked up in Los Alamos.
Which makes me wonder, he died in 1943, Los Alamos started up in
1943 from the Einstein letter to FDR and the Atomic bomb arrived in
1945.

How convenient.

Anyway, I think Los Alamos is where this petition should go and say the
ATS board id TeslandLyne said so because if Tesla did talk to ETs, like
so many books say so, then Los Alamos seems where his ETs are at.
