Maybe everyone complaining about my comment missed the
. My comment was tongue & cheek - perhaps you all missed this McCain add spoof where the wrinkled white haired guy label come from.

Original full video Link

Also, before you assume I'm a liberal, think again I'm not. I voted for George Bush twice.

McCain is a wrinkled white hair guy - might not be politically correct, but it's a fact and many see nothing wrong with that fact, otherwise he wouldn't be the Republican Nominee - would he. Comparing that to the "N" word is a joke and is not even in the same ballpark.

Personally, I think Biden would be the best choice for Obama, but we'll all see tomorrow.

The Major is watching without baited breath. The press trying to sensationalize the anointed one's VP pick is only slightly more exciting than watching paint dry, unless that paint's color is olive drab which happens to be the Major's favorite color.

The truth is that the second coming doesn't want a VP pick, the savior of our great republic would prefer an empty seat as opposed to the baggage of his potential running mates. Besides, an empty seat would dovetail nicely with the empty suit that is the golden child.

The Major would like to schedule reveille for 2012 and set the world on fast forward.

Dismissed.

If Bayh runs as Obama's VP. They not only won't take Indiana, but Bayh probably wouldn't be re-elected if they lost the election.
Bayh should think of his political future. Taking he V.P. slot with Obama would not be good.

FYI, the last time Indiana went Dem. was 1964 with Johnson.

I think we don't yet know, but would not be surprised if it is Clinton.
This has all the makings of a big 'surprise' and media coup for the Obama camp.

All has gone quiet and there seems to be disinformation around.... I am slowly becoming convinced.

I stand corrected. My bad.

You're right. I did miss the video, and the smiley face. I stand corrected. Many liberals are saying that McCain is too old though, and I redirect my comments to them.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Bayh and Kaine are both out of the running. Looks like Biden is the front-runner with Chet Edwards as a possible spoiler.

news.yahoo.com...

I, for one, will be surprised if Biden doesn't get the nod.

My money is still on a Obama/Clinton ticket defeated by McCain and some other old white guy. Not my preference...well, being an ferriner and all, it doesn't matter what I think...but that's how I figure it will shake out.

I sincerely doubt Clinton will be tapped as VP. She's too much of a lightning rod and is coming across like sour grapes.

She'll receive her recognition at the convention, and hopefully that will be the end of that. Such a shameful mess, if you ask me.

Saying someone is "too old" based on indications that the mental faculties are no longer completely intact is a WORLD apart from calling someone the N word!

McCain's age is a matter of fact. Obama is black. That is also a matter of fact that has been mentioned countless times. How anyone could think that saying McCain is too old is the same as using that particularly ugly slur is honestly baffling.

Obama/Biden '08! Yay!

Obama would be better off being in an episode of "Lost"
