Was this before or after Silverstein gave the order to " take it down " ????

Nice put, I listened to the audio, but I didn't watch, and the fact that he prolonged his "facts" was questionable at the least.

Also watch NIST's Spokesman while he speaks, he looks away during periods of intense duress, he touches his face, he glances rapidly, all signs of dishonesty, not to mention he completely ignores the question from infowars.com

What and who are you talking to?

This report is tantamount to the typical:
"Move along...nothing to see here folks...move along."

Furthermore, I really think its a case of "I think they doth protest too much."

More wasted money and it's not going to sway ANYONE either way.
You aren't going to suddenly have Alex Jones saying "Oh well, it's official..geeze sorry, how wrong could I have been? Oops My bad."
C'mon.

Why were there no fatalities from the collapse of WTC 7?

Several factors contributed to the outcome of no loss of life—or serious injuries—in WTC 7. The building had only half the number of occupants on a typical day—with approximately 4,000 occupants—at the times the airplanes struck the towers. Occupants had recently participated in fire drills. The occupants, alerted by the attacks on WTC 1, WTC 2, and the Pentagon, began evacuating promptly. Evacuation of the building took just over an hour, and the process was complete before the collapse of the first WTC tower (WTC 2). Emergency responders provided evacuation assistance to occupants. No emergency responders were harmed in the collapse of WTC 7 because the decision to abandon all efforts to save WTC 7 was made nearly three hours before the building fell.

Why didn't the investigators look at actual steel samples from WTC 7?

Steel samples were removed from the site before the NIST investigation began. In the immediate aftermath of Sept. 11, debris was removed rapidly from the site to aid in recovery efforts and facilitate emergency responders’ efforts to work around the site. Once it was removed from the scene, the steel from WTC 7 could not be clearly identified. Unlike the pieces of steel from WTC 1 and WTC 2, which were painted red and contained distinguishing markings, WTC 7 steel did not contain such identifying characteristics.

------------------------

So if the building (wtc7) was cleared and they knew nobody was still inside before the collapse, why hurry all the evidence away? There wouldn't be a need to rescue anybody from wtc7. And this would in fact slow the recovery efforts for wtc 1 & 2. And the beams on wtc7 weren't marked or stenciled? So NY building code doesn't require steel used in ALL skyscrapers to be marked independently in the event of structural failure? For identification purposes?

Who are these people kidding?

And no testing for thermite? Mhm.... Right....

I did not read the entire thread, nor do I care to discuss this matter any further.

The fact of the matter is, the owner of building 7 openly admitted that he gave the order for the demolition take down.

You are 100% correct. There is even a video posted in this thread with Silverstein saying he gave the order.

Although, some people, cough, cough (not you but ThroatYogurt), refuse to watch it because it proves that they are wrong.

The above sentence is just my opinion, BTW.

Like NIST would ever come out with a report, thats says WTC7 collasped
do to Control Demolition.

Let's Stay On Topic

There are hundreds of threads in the 9/11 Conspiracies forum, some of which date back six years, and all of which discuss other aspects of 9/11.

In this thread, let's please focus on the topic and keep comments relevant to the NIST report on WTC7.

Thanks.

I read on digg that they described this thermal expansion as a "new phenomenon". Is this true, I don't have time to read through it now and determine this myself.

High folks, new here & couldn't help but jump in.
I suppose in other news leprechauns have been found to be responsible for the price of gold as well?

I remembered hearing that WTC7 was over-engineered..

query.nytimes.com...

a few good quotes from that NY times article..

MORE than 375 tons of steel - requiring 12 miles of welding - will be installed to reinforce floors for Salomon's extra equipment.

''We built in enough redundancy to allow entire portions of floors to be removed without affecting the building's structural integrity, on the assumption that someone might need double-height floors,'' said Larry Silverstein, president of the company. ''Sure enough, Salomon had that need.

BEFORE it moves into a new office tower in downtown Manhattan, Salomon Brothers, the brokerage firm, intends to spend nearly two years and more than $200 million cutting out floors, adding elevators, reinforcing steel girders, upgrading power supplies and making other improvements in its million square feet of space.

I do not work for NIST. I am only showing you what was brought up today.

You don't beleive it? Come up with your own hypothisis.

I know you don't work for NIST and I have come up with my own hypothesis on MANY threads. I do enjoy reading your posts WHEN you present information like this. But you are obviously supporting this finding and that's where I have to differ yet again from you.

The building crimped in the middle and came straigth down. Classic demolition style. Period. A fire collapse would have started in one place and then slowly worked itself throughout if it would have EVER caused a collapse in the first place.

I just hate that this report will be the final presentation by NIST and that it leaves so much to be answered just like their report on the towers. It seems to be the way things are done in this administration so I can't say I blame them.

Present partial facts and leave a bunch of holes in the report and then call it good. That way people keep arguing over it while the years keep slipping away. Before we know it 911 will have JFK status. Not that it doesn't already in the CT world but I'm speaking more towards the time line. It will soon be 40 plus years and nothing will be released until all responsible parties are dead. Just like the JFK scam.

I agree! Something is very fishy about the OP! VERY!

Hey biggest kid. You completely ignored the fact that NIST own reports state they failed to recover any steel for testing.

So please ask then how they can do a proper report that can be believed.

Actaully Silverstein did not give the order, the fire commander did.

Silverstein had no authority that day.

True, I guess. In the vid, according to Silverstein, he gave the "suggestion" to pull it. The person that actually gave the order is irrelevant.

Well not really irrelevant, its strong evidnece that the building was brought down.

Stop asking for facts or evidence, anyone can claim what they say as fact an evidence, hell, this NIST investigation claims they have "facts and evidence" yet how the hell can you possibly prove that the information they have is even remotely "factual".

If you want any "links" to prove what I am about to say, why don't you start research it yourself.

Heres some facts for all those people out there who need the word "Fact" or "evidence" attached to any damn sentence

Fact: It takes 2,600 degree's temperature to "melt" steel, thats not even including the extra protection that all skyscraper steel is designed with, something like 7+ layers of fire protection. THERE IS NO WAY ANY FIRE CAUSED THIS BUILDING TO COLLAPSE IN 7 HOURS! Specially if the fire never reached over 800 degrees, the temperature the average office building gets to when on fire. All of this is supported by over 400 respected professional architects and engineers.

Fact: No office or skyscraper building has ever collapsed due to fire. EVER. This was not a "new phenomenon", there was no way fire caused a collapse. Buildings have burned for over 2-3 days, buildings that house many explosive/corrosive and toxic chemicals, yet they never collapsed. So why does a typical office building that houses so many important branches of banks and federal agencies suddenly collapse after only 7 short hours, when there was "very little" debris that actually landed on the building. Falling debris caused this fire? thats a LAUGH

Fact: Thermite was found in molten lava, there is no question of this at all, but this is completely left out of the NIST conclusion. This is the only way the steel would have given in.

Fact: Police and firefigthers knew about the controlled demolition, many have spoken out about it, all have been hushed or discredited. The very police and firefighters that helped pull people from the WTC's.

Fact: A BBC reporter broadcasted the news that WTC 7 collapsed something like 20+ minutes before the building collapsed, and the building was STILL standing in the background of her broadcast as she SAID that it had just collapsed. The broadcast was cut off the air shortly after. This is a WELL KNOWN FACT that has even been addressed by the head of the BBC, his explanation is "BBC is not involved in any conspiracy, we merely report what we are told" Obviously he is not lying, they were told about the collapse about 20minutes before they should have recieved the information, clearly from sources who's goals were to plant this information instantly

Fact:

NYPD Officer Heard Building 7 Bombs
"The whole time you're hearing boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I think I know an explosion when I hear it"

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Saturday, February 10, 2007

Following our reports this week about three different ground zero rescue workers who all testified that they were told Building 7 was to be brought down, yet more revealing testimony has come to light - this time from a former NYPD officer and first responder, who states that he clearly heard bombs tear down Building 7 as he ran away from its collapse.

www.prisonplanet.com...

BARTMER: "I was real close to Building 7 when it fell down... That didn't sound like just a building falling down to me while I was running away from it. There's a lot of eyewitness testimony down there of hearing explosions. I didn't see any reason for that building to fall down the way it did -- and a lot of guys should be saying the same thing. I don't know what the fear is coming out and talking about it? I don't know -- but it's the truth."

It is important to stress that everywhere we turn there are statements from firemen, NYPD officials, EMT's and others who were involved in the rescue efforts attesting to the fact that Building 7 was brought down deliberately and that bombs were heard in all three buildings. During the five year anniversary protests at ground zero, a plethora of firemen and police echoed similar sentiments but few are prepared to go on the record. However, the fact that they and many of their friends are now dying in large numbers as a result of government deception is encouraging more to come forward.

I guess everyone is a liar, except the Good old Government and NIST.
I just don’t understand why so many firemen and police officers and EMT and first responders want to tell lies? I really don’t understand why they would want to throw their careers down the toilet. It really makes no sense to me.

www.youtube.com...
I guess he is a lier as well.
WOW! no one is telling the truth only NIST and our media and the Government.
And we know our Government would never lie to us would they ?
We know that NIST are the very best that the Government bought.
Oh and our media has always been very truthfull.
Yes I going to sit in front of my TV and lap up everything they say!

www.youtube.com...
Yes and this man decided to throw his career in the garbage as well!

refute what NIST presented today with evidence.

If not, all you have is an opinion. PERIOD.

when is NIST going to present their evidience. all the 'evidence' i have seen from them so far does not match what happend that day. why are you so willing to believe them? what evidence did NIST provide that made them so credible? maybe this video simulation that does not resemble what actually happend?
