John Terry - he shouldnt be England Captain

Ok, so I dont actually hate the guy BUT he doesnt deserve to be the England Football Captain.

Do you agree or disagree?

It should have been Rio Ferdinand its as simple as that.

Im not really into soccer that much, but if I had a chocie of the English captain, I would be saying Steven Gerrard, he's pure class

Stevie G is a great player.....but im a Man U fan through and through. I dont want to upset any Liverpool fans but he doesnt do it for England.

If you are holding Terry's behaviour as a reason for him not being Captain then what about Ferdinand's constant complaining to referee's and linesmen, (that is what they are, not referee's assistants!) and his refusal to take a drug test as he knew it would come back positive?

Stevie G is a model professional and an inspirational player.

Not americanised......we have australian rules football (and the best sport in the world) which is our footy. Generally most aussies call your football, soccer

Oh and I do play soccer as well as aussie rules

I cant disagree with what you have said but I think John Terry is much worse than Rio.

Do you remember his tackle on Fabregas last season? I cant find a youtube vid of it, but it was awful. He isnt the only one to make bad tackles....my hero Cantona was also terrible. My point is, in order to be a Captain you really do have to be spotless ....on and off the pitch. Aside from Beckham's Rebeacca Loos afair....he was an excellent role model.

I like Stevie G, i was surprised that he appeared not to come close as Rio and Terry. I would prefer a scouser over John Terry - any day of the week and thats a Manc talking.
