The Kennedy name wouldn't hurt. But seriously, what does she have to offer that compares with Hillary's experience and expertise? One of the criticisms of Obama is that he is relatively inexperienced; that would be compounded by having Caroline as his running-mate.

nice sentiment, but not a go. this isn't camelot...it's a country in dire straits.

the other thing is, something or someone has a stranglehold over that family...either the trauma of two, and possibly three, assassinations has made them back off, which is totally understandable and feasible or there some kind of pressure on them, such as they can do X but not Y and stay safe and cozy, and i believe Y includes holding the highest offices in the land.

nothing else can really explain why they've all seemed to back off so entirely from seeking that office.
